Some people come into your life and remind you that you are made for more…and this conversation, like all conversations around the Table, move me in new ways on this stone life journey. None of these voices have performed, postured, or tried to impress. They simply have showed up with presence, integrity, lived experience, and a willingness to speak honestly and share a drink, a few laughs and maybe some tears along the way. Those are the voices that shape us. Not the loudest ones. Not the most polished ones. Very grateful that as well as coming to help judge at our ‘Dawn of the Deadlift’ Charity #deadlift Challenge next Saturday raising money for @kidsinspire_uk @jonvwilliams is awarding a pair of his @valgeirs_strengthtrips 🇮🇸 Locked in lifting straps to the winners in each of the 4 categories. 💪 We also have trophies ready for the Top 3 in each category from Epic Trophies. 🏆 The ‘Locked in’ Straps are for quick strapping with set loops. Two sizes of loops: For Larger wrists and smaller wrists. Very similar to what Adam Bishop used at @theworldsstrongestman in the Deadlift ladder. They have a longer strap version for Axle as well. Delighted to announce that on Saturday 25th October at our ‘Dawn of the Deadlift’ Charity #deadlift Challenge raising money for @kidsinspire_uk we will be joined by @jonvwilliams 2 x WSM competitor who will be helping with judging & generally spreading Icelandic 🇮🇸 cheer! 💪 A donation is being made to Kids Inspire from every entry plus we will be collecting donations from spectators on the day (so please bring a bit of cash with you if you can). So World's Strongest Disabled Man & Woman competition is being held in Texas USA this year an unfortunately due to money, work & family commitments not alot off the @gb_disabled_strongman athletes can attend, so @fitxpo_uk have saved us a spot for Novembers Birmingham event but unfortunately due to a few Big sponsors pulling out last minute GB Disabled Strongman are short on funds so we're hoping that you the general public can possibly spare anything from 50p upwards to give the amazing Disabled athletes 1 more competition this year.
