“You need to smile more” - BTS part 2

Being a 1AC I love getting to try new tools to see what I like the the most, and on this shoot I had the pleasure of working with a range of equipment and crew that could take advantage of it all.

For all of our in studio time I got to play with the Arri Hi-5 a killer focus unit, which was a dream to operate. Then for all locations shooting I had access to the old SXU-1, which had some issues so I came back to the trusty Tilta Nucleus.

For Camera we had two Red Komodo’s one all hooked into the studio, and one for all on location shooting. Our Dop paired this with a blazzar anamorphic lens we managed to get to some really awesome frames though out the film.

“You need to smile more”-BTS part 1

For this film I worked as 1AC, working with the @deakinuniversity virtal production screen, a couple Red Komodo’s, and trying out a couple different Arri focus units. Great to be back in a studio environment, and having fun with a killer team.

Multitasking on @doublelinesfilm

This was a young crew just getting out there and doing it with bunch of mates. I floated between Key Grip, Best boy, and Ac on this shoot, lighting scenes and getting anything needed done
