Gelato is a collection of marble tables inspired by the colour, softness and pleasure of its namesake. Contrasting stones are cut into gentle, undulating layers, making a traditionally hard material appear to melt from one flavour into the next. Each table is made to order and can be specified in different stones, dimensions and combinations, with original designs forming a side table, coffee table and console table. Material studies for Gelato. Each sample brings together a variety of stones, composed to test colour balance, movement, and how the surface reads at a smaller scale before being translated into furniture. These are not final combinations. They are part of an ongoing process of refining how colour and texture sit within a space, and how each piece will hold its own within an interior. As March comes to an end, I wanted to share that some of my work has had the privilege of being featured in this years @erria_xyz 2026 calendar. The Momento collection was featured in March, following on from the presence of the SLAB collection in the 2025 calendar. The things that Erria is doing to champion emerging design and the conversations they are initiating about the state of the industry are very exciting. I’ve had the pleasure of speaking to Alyssa Gerasimoff, one of the co-founders about where the industry is heading and so to be one of the featured artists on Erria is a real honour.
