1966 Fender Coronado 1!
First year production, and in Lake Placid Blue! A rarer custom color! Pretty snazzyy
The Coronado was designed by Roger Rossmeisl, a former Rickenbacker designer.
Competing with other thinline hollow bodies of the time, it was eventually discontinued in 1970.
My work included a refret with taller wire and making an ebony bridge compensated for a plain G, + a straight forward set up

(In for repairs)

late-1930s Vega archtop C-20 tenor guitar!
I leveled and dressed the frets, and @jakewildwood helped mod the bridge for more adjustment room. After that, a good Ol’ setupp taken in Jake Wildwood & Co by @joseamirodriguez

1940s Gibson L-30/KG-21!? In for repairs;
Every back brace reglued + top 2 main brace ends reglued, level/dress, swapped tuners + tailpiece (older 20s L-5 set), and a good ol set up! Thanks @jakewildwood for the bridge help

Pretty snazzy Gibzoo L-21 here, my first question was whether or not it’s still a carved top? A look inside and seems it’s not, not only that but it’s also got Kg-21 bracing! On top of that it came with a Kalamazoo bridge and kg-21 style F-holes taken in Jake Wildwood & Co by @joseamirodriguez

1929 Gibson L-1! In for repairs.
Gibson increased the body size of L-1’s from 13.5” (AKA the Robert Johnson Model) to 14.75” at the very end of 1929, making this Gibson L-1 one of the very first batches of the larger bodied L-1 models.
These were built super duper thin and light all around, and in turn sound frekin amazing (this is the first one I’ve ever played Lol). Unfortunately many of them haven’t survived the years well, heavy steel strings of the era taking their toll.
This one, however, is in very decent structural condition. No loose braces, no reset needed, no major cracks, functional truss roddd.
The body is spruce and mahogany sides, bound in a single layer of white celluloid, and finished in a hand rubbed Cremona sunburst with Sheraton brown back and sides. Thin ebony fingerboard (with the 15th fret marker!) with awesome grain pattern and a rosewood bridge made by myself(w/ og bridge pins. Aswell as a refret with slightly larger wire and a compensated bone saddle. “The Gibson” headstock logo, three-on-a-plate tuners with white buttons, C shaped neck with a 1-3/4” bone nut and 24.75” scale length. Set up 1/16 T and 3/32nds on the Bass.
Aside from the frets and bridge everything is orginal, no over spray no nothinnn.

This is the second bridge ive made (the last being a 12 string) and im purty happy with it. We opted to make it a drop in saddle, often times through saddle slots fail and the front of the bridge splits right on the slot. Which is why we ended up making a new one, the last bridge was a repro and it died from the slot

This guitar has survived multiple owners, multiple decades, and at least one Guitar Center employee.

1960 Gibson C-6 “Richard Pick” classical guitar!

This got a bunch of work. I made and attempted to reglue the main brace too many times. One of the braces I made split right on the wing when clamping the same way the original brace split, so we opted to make the brace wingless which worked great, thanks ya @jakewildwood. It also got all its back braces glued up, a bridge reglue, and some really annoying fret work+a set up. The extension was kicked up like crazy, once I realized there would be no fret left by the time it was level, I pulled the frets and sanded the ext. down to have a slight dive, fit them back in and leveled and dressed them. The zero fret on this thing was also frekin huge nearly double the height of the frets Lmao. by @joseamirodriguez

1940s STRAD-O-LIN! Jake had previously set this up, this time through I gave it a refret, which was about a month ago.
Cool features: aluminum fret markers, nice binding, pointed fretboard ext, awesome pick guard and matching tailpiece!
Solid spruce top over ply maple back and sides. The bridge and fretboard are rosewood. by @joseamirodriguez

1958 Gibson LG-0! First year production, pretty snazzy.
Finished this project last week and within a couple days of hanging on the rack someone walked in and bought it, super stoked for that dude. Jake reset the neck, I reglued the bridge, cleated a crack, leveled and dressed the frets, and set it up with 11s. I Ended up reusing the orginal saddle which is some kinda plastic composite, aside from the b string the saddle was comped to the front edge cause the slot/bridge was a little off from the factory(about a 1/32). It’s too bad they didn’t stick with this bridge style for the Lg-0s, not to knock the backwards bridge(unless it’s the plastic version).

After not being consistent with posts, I’ve got enough drafts to post atleast once a day for a while, so hopefully more posts coming soon lmao. gotta love procrastinating the little things. taken in Jake Wildwood & Co by @joseamirodriguez
