"Against all evils, for the fate of the world"

22x35"

oil and wax on canvas
==========================================

This is about power

Fear

And the will to overcome

Together

or, in isolation

We meet our fates all the same

May the tables varnished in our blood anoint its oils in our grace as its embers give way to ashes

Reveal the apparitions of our holy spirit

Once again engaged in the sacred battle for the heart of our existence

All the while the certainty of our doom seems well underway

For the old world burns, and in our communion

None shall be seated.

"These Nights of Liberty"
(Forty in the summer of 25')
24x28"
Oil on plywood

Derived from a video I took from @libertybarsa
40th birthday--A wonderful chaos of a night.
This was the longest ive ever spent creating a piece, and while it tested my patience, it also crafted a silence of which I was in need away from the chaos of our time. Looking back now in its completion, i am reminded only of the lessons ive learned, and the growth ive achieved through my discomfort that have only strengthened my character and resolve. Something I learn everytime I pick up a brush, pen, or instrument.

100 years from now, should this painting survive longer than I, our childrens children may look and witness our lives occuring spontaneously, with love, without fear and with an endless hope and devotion to creating our future

"In the heat of the summer"
11x14.5"
Oil on sheetrock

A study i did a while ago for painting on red primed sheetrock.
The temp is rising and i think of passed summers. We progress in a direction, shattering ceilings not to feel the breeze but to burn in a box taken in San Antonio, Texas by @joseunknown_
