45 Minutes = A Completely Different Movement. ⛳️

This is a great example of what can happen when we simplify the movement and give the player clear intentions🏌️‍♂️.

In just 45 minutes, we’ve created a noticeable difference in the swing not by trying to change everything at once, but by focusing on the key movements that were having the biggest influence on the delivery.👌

The focus was on creating a wider takeaway, improving the transition and allowing the body to clear, giving the club more space to work through impact. 🚀🍋

The result is a swing that looks more organised, more connected and more repeatable.📈

The important part of coaching isn’t simply making a swing look different - it’s helping the player understand why the change matters and how to reproduce it. 📈

45 minutes. Clear objectives. Measurable change.

Now the work begins to make the new movement natural, reliable and transferable to the course.

From Two-Way Misses to a Controllable Fade ⛳️

One of the most rewarding parts of coaching is seeing a player develop trust, accountability and ownership of their golf swing.

We’ve worked together throughout the summer, and initially the priority was learning factors that cause two-way miss.

Rather than chasing every individual shot, we focused on understanding the swing, identifying patterns and becoming accountable for the delivery.

Fast forward to now, and we’ve developed a much more reliable and controllable fade.
The goal isn’t perfection, it’s having a swing and ball flight that the player understands, trusts and can take to the course.

The focus has been:

• Understanding the swing and its patterns
• Developing a predictable face-to-path relationship
• Building trust in the fade
• Taking ownership of the outcome

We’ve now committed to a 6-session block over the winter to keep grinding away, refine the movement and, most importantly, keep the swing smooth, repeatable and reliable.

Progress isn’t always about changing more. Sometimes it’s about refining what works and making it more dependable.

Keep working. Keep learning. Keep the same ball. 😂🏌️‍♂️

Link in bio for lessons, let’s start the journey today.

Thanks everyone

THANK YOU! ✅⛳️

Last week was one I’ll genuinely never forget. ❤️⛳️
We held our inaugural JA Golf Texas Scramble Charity Day in aid of Felindre Cancer Centre, and seeing so many amazing people come together to support something so close to many of our hearts was incredibly special.

What started as an idea to bring people together for a great day of golf turned into something so much bigger. The support, generosity, laughter and kindness shown throughout the day was honestly overwhelming.

And to find out that, together, we raised over £2,000 for Felindre Cancer Centre is something I’m incredibly proud of. ❤️

A massive thank you to every single person who played, donated, sponsored, helped organise, or simply supported the event in any way. Every contribution made a difference, and I truly can’t thank you enough.

Cancer touches so many lives, and knowing that our day will help support the incredible work being done at Felindre makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Here’s to the first of many, and hopefully next year we can raise even more. 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

A few weeks ago, Andrew got in touch with me looking for some help with his golf.

As a registered partially sighted golfer, he wanted to see if we could adapt the coaching environment to suit his vision and make the game more accessible. It was a challenge I was excited to take on, and together we worked on making some simple but effective adjustments.

During our first lesson, it quickly became clear that we had some barriers to break down.

Andrew and I spoke in length about what he can see or if anything stands out more etc etc. white alignment rods were used to make a runway to where the golf ball will be and used a bright red alignment rod on the mat to aid with ball position. That small change made a huge difference, giving Andrew clear visual reference points to help with his setup and alignment.

As we worked through the session, I explained why the golf ball was curving both left and right, and came up with a plan for Andrew to feel certain things during swing to help with this. The goal wasn’t to overload him with technical information but to provide clear, repeatable feels that matched the way he sees the game.

We focused on staying committed to the strike and keeping his attention on the spot where the ball had been. Almost immediately, his contact began to improve.

Coaching Andrew was a fantastic experience and a great reminder that good coaching is about adapting to the individual in front of you. With a few thoughtful changes and clear communication, golf can become far more accessible without changing the fundamentals of the game.

I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Andrew and helping him enjoy the game even more and we’ve already got plans for 2027 golf season, watch this space.

45 minutes can make a huge difference.📈

After just one 45-minute session using a combination of targeted release techniques and movement correction, Dave’s stubborn back pain eased significantly and the improvement in his golf swing was clear to see.✅

Less restriction. Better movement. More confidence.

Sometimes, the key isn’t working harder, it’s helping the body move the way it was designed to.

In this instance we averaged a 3 yard loss in 7 iron distance with better strike patterns and spin rates., it’s not all about distance in this game(That’s fine) ⛳️

Move better, feel better.

⛳️ Putting perspective:

A lot of golfers obsess over uphill vs downhill putts, but proximity to the hole matters more than the slope.

A flat 3-footer is usually easier than an uphill 8-footer.
A confident tap-in beats a “perfect” leave every time.

Great putting isn’t just about reading greens .it’s about speed control, leaving yourself stress-free finishes, and building confidence one putt at a time.

Get it close. Trust your stroke. The rest gets easier. 🎯

Great to have @roachy_97 down tonight for a lesson.

In just 45 minutes, we made some huge improvements, tightened up his setup, improved consistency through impact, and started seeing much more controlled ball flight.📈

Ball flight went from high slices to a controllable push draw…. Some lovely changes in ball flight. 🤯

Proof that with the right focus and a bit of coaching, things can click quickly 👌

“Excited to see where I’ll be in 6 lessons time”

Looking forward to seeing these changes out on the course soon mate. ✅⛳️

Thanks for coming down Will, keep it up.

Ever wondered how bunker shots actually work? 🏖️⛳

Here’s a simple breakdown using the lines in this visual:

🟡 Yellow line = Club Path
This shows the direction your club is traveling. In a bunker shot, the club moves slightly *outside-to-in*, helping splash the sand (not the ball) out toward the target.

🟢 Green line = Clubface Angle at Setup
Notice how open the face is? This is KEY. An open face adds loft and bounce, allowing the club to glide through the sand instead of digging.

⚪ White line = Ball Trajectory
The ball pops up high and soft because it’s carried by the sand. You’re not striking it clean, you’re using the sand as the “launch pad.”

💡 The secret:
Hit the sand *before* the ball, keep the face open, and commit to the swing.

Trust the splash, not the strike.
