Today is my birthday, my 40th birthday. No large celebration or party or fancy boudoir photo shoot. Just a look back at some of my favorite selfies from throughout the year doing the things that i love most; working, onewheel/snowboarding, and traveling to see old friends.

This wasnt a great year for my professional life but i decided to stop "waiting for the right time" or "next one" and embrace the here & now. The "now" is all that we promised, might as well try to enjoy if we can, because WHY NOT?! When life gives you lemons, LIVE LAUGH LOVE!

ill be posting more from my year throughout the week; each memory deserves its own feature as i look back to celebrate this 40th year.

Thank you all for being with me on this epic journey called "LIFE." Love yall 🫶 by @joshkade

This Valentines Day i dedicate to my beloved Taco, my Tacoman, my bubba, the one and only, Taco Supreme 💗🐕🌮

Two days ago, on 2/12/24, we said our final goodbyes and helped him cross over, peacefully at home in his bed 🌈

Although he was no longer a part of my daily life the impact he made on me is unparalleled. He was my first dog and his love and friendship taught me things and opened my heart in new ways that didnt know was possible. i am forever in his debt.

you can rest now baby boy, your watch is over. i will miss you and love you forever. Till i see you again, “youre a good boy” 🫶

these are some of my favorite photos of him…
slide 2: this is the first photo i have in my phone of him circa april 2013
slide 3: Taco & my dad
slide 4,5,6,7,8: my silly sleepy boy
slide 9: the last photo of us
slide 10: one last glamor shot to ease the pain by @joshkade
