*Humble Brag Warning* I don’t talk about this publicly ever but I’m compelled to share. I don’t know if it’s bc I hope that someone reads this that needs to hear it or that I’m just plain proud of myself. Today I’m 7 years sober. I chose to stop drugs and alcohol bc I knew I wasn’t the person I knew I was capable of being. Since then, I became a father, a home owner and small business owner and I know I wouldn’t be able to do these things successfully if I wasn’t sober. It was a hard decision to make and the journey to this point wasn’t easy either, nor is it over. It’s a decision I make everyday and a commitment I have kept and will continue to keep. 2020 was a doozy, but in the end I’m grateful for all of the support and love I have in my life to help get through tough times. I love my boys, I love my wife, I love my friends & family and I love my life. #7years #soberlife taken in Los Angeles, California by @joshnyback
