Today’s the day. Five years after first brainstorming a little story, Estuary is officially released. I’m very proud of how it turned out, both inside and out.

Eternal gratitude to @unsolicitedp for bringing it to life, @dom.granda for the beautiful cover design, and everybody else that helped along the way. by @joshrank

It’s release day! Chance to Fade & Other Stories is officially out in the world. 14 short stories and a novella covering a range of topics from collecting teeth, drawings that come to life, and finding love.

Big thanks to @runningwildpressllc for working with me on this. It’s been a long road so it’s nice to get it out in the world.

Order it wherever you like. Thanks for playing along. by @joshrank

Nearly four years after initially deciding to write the damn thing, my novel “The Present Is Past” comes out today from @unsolicitedp. I’m very excited for this thing to be out in the world. Preorders should be popping into mailboxes ASAP and new orders can be made at your favorite book ordering outlet. I’ll include the link to order directly from the publisher in my bio. Big thanks to everyone at the press for bringing this thing to life. I hope you like it. taken in Appleton, Wisconsin by @joshrank

This house burned down three times. At one point, a servant went nuts, killed seven people with a hatchet, and set their bodies on fire. It’s also where Frank Lloyd Wright kept all his stuff while constantly adding new shit all over the place. Pretty neat. taken in Taliesin Frank Lloyd Wright House by @joshrank

Author copies showed up yesterday and they look SWEET. Very stoked on how it all came together.

Preorders are open now at the link in my bio.

Estuary is the story of a man with a diary that sporadically populates itself with entries written in his handwriting. Through this, he learns his ex girlfriend had a son that she never told him about. He drives up to Atlanta to see if the diary is right which sets off a series of events that include ghosts, the police, and of course, my dog Alameda.

It looks great on a shelf. It’ll look great on your shelf. by @joshrank

My new novel “Estuary” is officially up for preorder!

It’s the story of a man with a diary that sporadically populates itself with entries written in his handwriting. Through this, he learns his college girlfriend had a son that she never told him about. He drives up to Atlanta to see if the diary is right which sets off a series of events that include ghosts, the police, and of course, my dog Alameda.

Major thanks to the main man @dom.granda for the beautiful cover art.

I quite like how it turned out. Maybe you will, too. Consider preordering a copy before it comes out in June.

Find the link in my bio. Thank you. Love you. by @joshrank

Hello.

Preorders are live for my collection “Chance to Fade & Other Stories,” coming out in October from @runningwildpressllc.

It includes a novella about a guy being haunted by his dead fiance while his 8-year-old neighbor loses her mind (it’s actually not that dark, I promise, but yeah this is gist of it). And if that isn’t enough fun for you, there are 14 short stories that range from surreal to sad to downright sappy. Something for everybody!

This is your opportunity to order a copy, forget all about it, then get a fun treat in your mailbox like Santa blacked out and didn’t know what month it was. Find it at the link in my bio. taken in Appleton, Wisconsin by @joshrank

Mega jazzed that this bad boy not only has a cover, but a release date. No clue when preorders start, but my collection of short stories/a novella is set to hit shelves October 14th, 2025. I’ll be sure to annoy the shit out of you when it’s available. taken in Appleton, Wisconsin by @joshrank

Well holy crap “The Present Is Past” has been out for 6 months. It’s been a fun, nerve-wracking, fulfilling experience and @unsolicitedp deserves a hearty thank you for helping bring it to life. Also, thanks to anybody that’s bought/borrowed/loaned the thing and double thanks to anybody who actually took the time to read it. Triple thanks to those that reached out to say nice things. Means a lot. I plan on setting up some more readings this year once it doesn’t hurt to go outside. Tell all your friends about it if you liked it. And if you didn’t, that’s okay too. (Also thanks to @sarah2482 and @mandamaethetrashpanda for the pictures since it never occurs to me to take them myself) taken in Appleton, Wisconsin by @joshrank
