323 days in the making—all to come down to mere minutes on stage. My first bodybuilding show was beyond a formative, bittersweet milestone, and I am thankful to have shared this journey with such supportive, amazing friends. I told myself I'd compete in a show primarily to learn about and experience the prep process so I could be a better coach—winning anything was brownie points in my books—and I walked away with two medals and so much more. I still have lots to learn, but the foundation I've built is grand.

To my coach, Nick, from the bottom of my heart—thank you for everything. Your mentorship, guidance, sacrifices, and support were invaluable. Not only did you teach me how to be a bodybuilder, you taught me how and allowed me to see what it was like to be a client myself. I will forever be grateful for the perspectives you afforded me to see, and I look forward to serving my own clients better because of it. I could not have achieved this package without you—you built this Nick. I'm honored to share your work, and in a few years if/when I do another show I will be eager to share your work again. 3rd was neat this year, but perhaps we aim for 1st next time 🫣🤭 Thank you endlessly.

To my friends that came to the venue and supported in any capacity from afar and throughout the 323 days—thank you to the moon and back. Hearing your cheers from the audience, accommodating my diet during hangouts, reading your words of support, and joining me on walks meant more than I'll ever be able to express. They centered me on that stage and along the journey, and without that I would've lost my way. My why. I will forever remember and hold close to my heart all that you all gave to be there for me. I'm so lucky to have humans like you in my life. Thank you all.

To the Josh during the days leading up to day one—thank you for surrendering and embarking on this difficult journey. I know you were nervous at first and didn't know what to expect, and I'm so glad and proud of you for entertaining that speck of curiosity—letting it flourish into this.
