saturday, december 20th we're sharing what we've learned of grief/gain/agnst/lust/love/death/dimentionality/individuation/costs/loss/language/faith/austerity/submission and drowning.

on ECHOES OUT OF HERE:
reluctance to engage so called others is/as reluctance to be present with this projection of
imagined self/individuated life force.
blue was the portal. the way out within.

sometimes it's a slow fall up, you forget the tunes and how they used to make you itch and
scratch at the same time, the body that is everything in that moment and the moments within
those moments, sometimes it's the taste of food and then your indifference to it but slowly
you come to know. not that there aren't those cursed with knowing from birth, en caul marking
the affliction of not knowing what to call that, but this is not that or most of us and most
of us are afraid to die afraid and terrified to weather/wither, to fade, to change colors.
anything but my blackness please don't take my blackness. please don't take my loving.
anything but my music. how do i know that there/they will be music over there? who all gonna
be over there and do they dance? will i still think that they aren't me? sometimes it's a
slow ache outward/into the panging ending and beginning and nothing of things. you painting
now? yes, i was given a list of questions at conception and i have to try and answer them.
somebody asked me how i know. my hands do the knowing. what is a you and where was it before
death became the itch and the scratch? before the blues mistaken for blacks. before waters.
before the Zong. before blue waters facing up AND down. facing tectonic striations veining
from pole to pole. facing Olokun, not afraid of breathing blue. not afraid of a Being
black-blue. or gilded sienna cytoplasms cornrowing passages through my perceptions of reality
and notions of a temporal self.
