Square crystal gooseneck handle mug. This was in the front of the anagama sheltered by a line of pieces in front. 1 in a 1000 luck 🍀🧧 by @joslinpollard

One of my favorites that was up to task to record everything that was thrown at it. This piece fell off its tripod and was placed in the coal bed for the last 4 days of the firing. Special purple crystal growth 💜🔮and waves of ash by @joslinpollard

Been exploring these single stretched strips of clay and weaving it into interpretations of baskets, vases or abstract forms. This is a full 25 lb bag stretched to 6 feet and folded upon itself to support the weight. Slow drying over months has been turned into the biggest learning curve. Thanks to the peeps and kiln at @cobbartandecology for taking an idea and making it magic. And this piece would be nothing if it was not for the clays from Michael Haney at #eastbayclay by @joslinpollard
