The wonderful feedback from parents and students motivates us to enhance our programs increasingly!

Weekly Virtual Bible Classes designed for preteens and teens.
Seasonal Programs like Vacation Bible School, as well as Easter and Christmas classes.

We believe that every child is a vessel of God’s purpose, and we are dedicated to equipping them to serve and glorify Him, fostering their personal growth and development.

Your support is crucial to us noo matter where you are in the worls. Whether by enrolling a child or teenager or sharing our programs with a parent, your support means everything to us and we would be thrilled to have you join us in this mission! by @jotham.academy

We discussed Halloween in class, and concluded that Christians should not be celebrating Halloween because it’s not of God. In the bible, Daniel refused to eat the food king Nebuchadnezzar offered him because he acknowledged the background of the food was impure, as it had been offered to idols. We, as Christians, should not participate in something that came out of a pagan occurrence, just as Daniel did not eat food prepared for pagan gods.

1 Corinthians 10 18-22 also talks about how we can’t partake in things of the world and things of God because the things of the world are demonic, and we can’t drink from the cup of Demons and the Lord’s cup at the same time. Same way Halloween is demonic and we cannot partake in it. by @jotham.academy

Today's class, we talked about identity and knowing yourself. We read and talked about the story of Nebuchadnezzar's dream and how Daniel knew that asking God for help was the only right solution. What really stood out for me was how much faith Daniel had in God. He knew without a doubt that only God would have the answer to his problem, so he formed his companions and they prayed and prayed, and soon enough God had revealed the answer to Daniel in a vision. I think this is really important because in other situations in our time, some people would just accept their faith and not even give it a thought to ask God, or they would get tired of praying for help. But Daniel didn't think about it and asked God for help and had faithĀ inĀ hisĀ God.

And the same way Daniel Knew he could go to God for a solution, I know that God will always be there for me when I am in need, and I can ask when I need help from God because I amĀ aĀ childĀ ofĀ God by @jotham.academy

I think today’s class was really enlightening. We talked about the story of Daniel and how he chose to obey God at the expense of ā€˜comfort’. What particularly stood out to me was the strong sense of discipline he had not to accept the food from the King’s table, but he didn’t just stop there; he didn’t say he was going to starve to death because he didn’t want to offend God. He took the step of courage and wisdom to meet the person in charge, probably at the expense of his own safety and persuaded the person in charge to get him what he wanted.
I think that’s really powerful because sometimes we think that there’s no way out of certain circumstances, and we compromise, saying ā€˜God understands’ without actually embodying the wisdom of God.
Another thing that stood out to me is that my identity remains constant no matter what. No matter the location or situation, my identity is the same. by @jotham.academy

The time in school can influence and shape how they see God, themselves, what is right and wrong, and what truly matters. by @jotham.academy

Did You Know?
By the time your child turns 18, they’ll have spent over 15,000 hours in school.
That’s 625 full days being taught, shaped, and influenced.

However, during that same period, most parents spend just 6,000 hours of deep, meaningful time with their children.

šŸ‘€ That’s less than half. Join us for 'Back To School' every Saturday in August. by @jotham.academy

For God so loved me, He gave His best.

We often think of our walk with Jesus in the context of what we need to do and what we have done.

But from Scripture, we see something different:
That we didn’t start this story.
We entered into what God was already doing for us.

And why?
Because our sin separated us from Him.
But His love refused to leave us lost.

Today, the invitation is simple:
Remember the Sacrifice of Jesus.
Believe that what He did is enough.
Receive the gift that can’t be earned.
Rest in the love that gave everything.

Because God didn’t just give something.
He gave His best - His Son - to rescue me and you.

Maybe today is the day you stop striving, and start believing.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Slide 1: What do you think a person’s biggest need is? šŸ¤”
Our children gave amazing answers: shelter, friends, family, education (so we can buy nice things), and more. But we discovered that our greatest need is deeper than these things. Matthew 16:26

Slide 2: Imagine a child stuck in the mud. No matter how many nice things they have, everything still gets stained by the mud. This is what sin does to us, without Jesus, we are trapped and cannot get out on our own. Every human being before receiving Christ is like this child in the mud. Romans 3:23

Slide 3: Mud is sinking. The more the child struggles, the deeper he sinks. That’s how sin works, and it’s why we can’t become perfect on our own. But just like superheroes rescue those in danger, Jesus came to rescue us from sin, hell, and the devil's rule. Isaiah 64:6

Slide 4 : But Jesus didn’t just rescue us, He brought us into God’s family! Now, we don’t just escape sin, we belong to God, and we have a relationship with Him again. John 1:12

So, the next time you say Jesus is my Saviour, you're saying He rescued you! šŸš€

What did you think was your biggest need when you read the question?
