If you teach, lead, or disciple children, this is for you.

The lessons you teach,
The prayers you whisper,
And the time you invest in these little hearts matters more than you think.

But even those who pour into children need moments to pause and be refreshed.

Join us for a Children Ministers Prayer Retreat, just an hour set aside to connect with God and receive fresh strength for the work you’ve been called to do.

The time in school can influence and shape how they see God, themselves, what is right and wrong, and what truly matters.

For God so loved me, He gave His best.

We often think of our walk with Jesus in the context of what we need to do and what we have done.

But from Scripture, we see something different:
That we didn’t start this story.
We entered into what God was already doing for us.

And why?
Because our sin separated us from Him.
But His love refused to leave us lost.

Today, the invitation is simple:
Remember the Sacrifice of Jesus.
Believe that what He did is enough.
Receive the gift that can’t be earned.
Rest in the love that gave everything.

Because God didn’t just give something.
He gave His best - His Son - to rescue me and you.

Maybe today is the day you stop striving, and start believing.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Happy Good Friday!! 🤍

Daniel and his friends did not develop strong convictions in Babylon. They were prepared before he got there.

In today’s world, our children will face their own tests. The question is, will they be ready? We’re here to partner with parents to prepare them. #NurtureToStand #EquippedToBuild #JothamAcademy

Welcome to the Jotham Academy! 🚀

Our mission is to nurture and empower God's children and teens for their unique roles in ministry. Inspired by Ephesians 4:11-16 and 2 Chronicles 26:7, we provide Christ-centered teachings that connect Biblical principles with everyday life while respecting the original context of the Scriptures.

Over the past four years, serving Christian families across three continents has been our privilege. We truly appreciate the trust parents have placed in us to positively contribute to their efforts in raising Godly children. The wonderful feedback from parents and students motivates us to enhance our programs increasingly!

What We Offer:
Weekly Virtual Bible Classes designed for preteens and teens.
Seasonal Programs like Vacation Bible School, as well as Easter and Christmas classes.

We believe that every child is a vessel of God’s purpose, and we are dedicated to equipping them to serve and glorify Him, fostering their personal growth and development.

Your support is crucial to us noo matter where you are in the worls. Whether by enrolling a child or teenager or sharing our programs with a parent, your support means everything to us and we would be thrilled to have you join us in this mission!

This Saturday, we started new series on prayer with the preteens, and let me tell you—it started with some interesting answers! I asked, "Why do you pray?" and the responses definitely made me smile.

The first answer was: "I’ve never really thought about it." Others said things like, "So that God will give me what I need," "I pray for my food and exams so God can bless my food and help me pass my exam," someone else said "because we are supposed to pray - the Bible tells us to pray". And then someone added, "so I can get a good place in heaven!"

We had a great discussion from there, diving into Jesus’ teaching on prayer from Matthew 6:9. We focused on the word FATHER. Think about how we interact with our parents—yes, they give us good things and help us, but is that why we talk to them?

As amazing as gifts, help, and provision, protection are (and trust me, God loves to give them), they’re not the core of our relationship with Him. Prayer, at its heart, is an expression of our relationship with God—our Father.

Why do you pray?

If the enemy can successfully make us think wrongly, then he can make us make wrong decisions. This is why I'm very glad we had the opportunity to have these conversations on Identity as the new school year starts.

We deeply appreciate God for the success of both programmes with the teens and preteens.
God is soooooo good!!! 🤍

Ever wondered why change doesn’t happen overnight, even after giving your life to Christ?

As we wrapped up our program with the teens, we reflected on an important truth: we’ve all been shaped over the years in how we speak, think, and interact with others, and this doesn’t suddenly change the day we accept Christ. Salvation is not a process—it’s instant. But just like a child who grows and learns, we, too, must grow in our faith.

It only makes sense that if we’re being transformed into God’s image, we should look to Him for that change. It’s not enough for Ms Tosin, or anyone else, to simply tell us we are chosen, forgiven, and loved. To truly believe and live out these truths, we must spend time with God and let Him reveal who we are. That’s where lasting convictions are born.

So, Child of God, stop trying to fit into the moulds and standards of society and those around you. Instead, allow God to mould you into who He created you to be. That’s where your true identity and strength lie.

Tag someone who needs to hear this today.

Today, we explored where our fears and insecurities really come from. They creep in because of our awareness that we’re not perfect. We looked back at Adam and Eve, who lived without fear or shame until they sinned against God. Suddenly, they felt exposed and tried to cover their shame with leaves. But the thing about leaves is that they don’t last.

Similarly, we often try to cover our insecurities by seeking validation through our features—whether it’s our looks, popularity, or achievements. But just like those leaves, these quick fixes are temporary. There's always something newer, someone more popular, or a trendier achievement that can overshadow what we are holding onto.

The truth is, the solution isn’t in covering up but in reconnecting with God. As 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 instructs us, we’ve stopped evaluating ourselves and others from a human point of view because anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! NLT

So, let’s reconnect with God and see ourselves through His eyes. That’s where our true value and security lie.

See you tomorrow! 🤍🌟

A few weeks ago, we were conversing in our Juniors class, and 10-year-old Ms Nimz shared an experience she had at school. She said in her class some students were talking about same-sex relationships, and she was bold to say it's a sin against God. The other children turned on her, and someone particularly told her to shut her mouth, but she insisted. She got home and told her mum what had happened, and her mum told her how to handle that type of situation in the future.

One thing I sincerely appreciated when she shared this was that she did not feel the need to fit in so much that she could not express her views. She did not need their approval or validation, so she spoke up, though it differed from theirs. This is just one issue, but the point is that part of what separates a child who feels the need to agree with everyone, and Nimz is that she understands who she is.

Knowing who and whose you are is an asset that distinguishes us from others. Do you know a teenager who should learn more about their Identity in Christ? Please tell them about our upcoming programme as we explore this topic in depth. Registration link is in my bio.

Did you feel the need to agree with people as a teen or young adult? I surely did.
