I’ve been having sooooo much fun as this festival, and I’m super grateful for the chance to be a creator and connect w/ so many dope individuals!! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve been outside in and out of cosplay + all of my looks were heavily complimented. 🥹💗

This was day one, and I love the style I’ve developed for myself so much. I’m at my best in a mini skirt, fishnets, and some tall shoes!! 😂🤪

Am I really happy to be in ATL? YEAH!!! 😭❤️‍🔥

I’m sooooooo excited to kick off @atlanimefest today, and I’m looking forward to the whole weekend of hip-hop and nerdy fun ahead! 🥹🫶🏽

I feel like they’re bringing @superduperkyle just for ME bc I was immediately in love w/ his style, and it was inspiring to witness someone blend their interests and passions the way he was when I was just an awkward sophomore in high school listening to Beautiful Loser. He definitely holds a special place in my heart as a creative, so I can’t WAIT to see him live for the first time!! 🤗

I’m super hyped to see all the cool cosplays folks have planned, and debut two new ones for myself at the Festival on Saturday and the @trapsushiofficial After Party later on that night. 🤭

I’ll be at as many things as possible while also making time to rest somewhere in here, and if we’ve met at another con/festival, I’d love to frolic together!! ✨

Also, extremely open to making new friends and meeting some of my social media peeps in real life. I need to see your beautiful faces!!! 🥺😩💗

PRIDE WAS A RIOT ❤️‍🔥🔥

It was such a pleasure + an honor to co-host Flint Pride this year, and I can officially add “festival co-host” to the list of cool things I’ve gotten to do!! 😭🥰

The journey of self-discovery and acceptance is a long and winding one, and it’s been so beautiful to walk my path and meet so many amazing people, like the good folks over at @wellnessservices who produce Pride in the Park every year in Flint. 🏳️‍🌈✨

I had so many people compliment my hosting style, and while I was a little scared to show up as myself and rap about God and politics on bigger stages, I’m letting go of that fear. My voice is mine to share, and there are people who want to hear it. 🤲🏽

I had a lottttttt of fun performing at @creepycheapy (at @thecrofoot) the last 4 years, and performing as @dojacat was no different. 🐈‍⬛✨

I won’t be back this year, BUT you can catch me at @atlanimefest as a creator, and then @produce.ikigai is bringing “All Hallow’s Eve: Glow Party” to @kewskorner on October 31st for Halloween!! 🔥

I have sooooo many plans coming forth rn. I’m producing gaming tournaments, cosplay parties, more healing spaces, you name it. IT’S COMING!! 🤗

So grateful for what this season of my life looks like. I have the tools to do anything I set my mind to, and I’m so appreciative of the people who support and love me. It’s literally only up from here!! 🤪🥰

I received so many compliments, and I’m still trynna process them all. 😭💗

I felt so beautiful, I had so much fun, and my raps were so well received. I just started rapping my own songs in public last year, and there’s a rumor starting that I’m the best rapper in Flint. 🤭

(If you ask @themarzexperience, we can extend that to Michigan, the Midwest, and beyond 🤪)

I am tired, but I am strong. 🤲🏽✨

As I continue my evolution into everything I can be, part of why I do what I do is because of the life I’ve lived, and the fights I’ve survived.

I’ve named this man many times, and Darell Brown is accused of so much harm and abuse, it’s truly sickening and disgusting to know.

Running for city council in Flint after all of things he has done is the largest example of the depths of his narcissistic behavior.

I told my truth years before this campaign, but that man is SICK, and should not be holding any kind of office anywhere ANYTIME. There are more women coming forward saying they have been harmed by him much more recently than my last encounter with him where he brutally attacked me in July 2020.

The truth always prevails, and I have turned over information and will be fully cooperative with the community organizations that are willing to stand beside all of the survivors Darell Brown has created.

I had the idea to host a forum and invite survivors to speak or provide their testimonies however would feel best to them (writing, recording, etc.) and invite HIM to hear that and speak to the history that molded him into the man he is today. Hurt people hurt people, and that man is deeply traumatized and scarred. A date hasn’t been set yet, but it will soon.

It’s the best I can come up with to cope and address the community danger his appointment to office would be.

I process through music and poetry, and I don’t usually share it. I was told that’s it’s imperative to my work that I show this part of myself too.

What I’m building with @produce.ikigai is deeper than rap, no pun intended. Rap will always be at the center of it because EYE am at the center of it, and rap, poetry, written and spoken word all mean so much to me.

I have found my voice, and my greatest wish is to see everyone do the same in the most radically freeing ways. That’s all I truly want. ❤️‍🔥

Hands down one of my FAVORITE memories I made at the first @atlanimefest!! 😭🔥

I love @tiacorine’s music (STREAM CORINIAN) and getting to see her perform live for the first time AND getting my 🍒s signed and kissed was way more than I expected to experience 🥹🤲🏽

Shoutout to @bydontreyvon for holding me up when I almost fainted and wiping my sweat 😂💗

Thank you sooooo much to @yentruo_c for capturing the moment for posterity 🥹🥰

And when me and @lilbabyashleyycosplays locked eyes with both of our signatures across our chests, we knew exactly what we needed to do!! 🤗

I was a content creator for last year’s festival, and today’s the last day of the (extended 😅) deadline to apply for this year by submitting a video. I really hope I’m chosen to come back, and if not, I still think Imma make a run to the A for this!!! ❤️‍🔥✨

Look up, I already won!! 🏆

Cosplaying, crafting, producing, hosting, + manifesting for the Mystic Garden Party was such a treat, and I can’t WAIT for the next experience!! 🥹💗

What I’m most proud of (in no specific order):

The love, joy, and whimsy that was shared amongst the community 💞

EVERYONE who came to vend made sales + connections, incl. the food vendor selling out every protein but shrimp for her mystic meals of tacos/nachos 🌮

Some of the wonderful artists our community has born + raised had space and opportunity to share their gifts and talents onstage🌟

My party was the 2nd best night for the bar this yr. right after what should have been the Flint Pride after party on July 19th (I’m still co-hosting this year’s Pride festival on the rescheduled date Sept. 19th) 🌈

I learned a lot about myself and what I’m capable of, and I’m very proud of who I am and what I am seeking to accomplish ❤️‍🔥

I have sooooooooo many people asking when’s the next one, and I’m definitely gonna share another date soon enough. I have sooo much content to go through, + I can’t wait to share how beautiful it all was. 🤗
