Today, I interviewed for the opportunity of a lifetime—my dream of becoming Miss Collegiate America 🤍 An opportunity I truly haven’t gone a single day without thinking about!

As I head into prelims tomorrow, I’m ready to continue showcasing who I am—who Journey Burris is. My platform, Voice Up, my mission to help students overcome anxiety and imposter syndrome through BRAVE, and my passion for interactive storytelling workshops… all rooted in being unapologetically myself.

I’m still over the moon—so grateful and blessed after today’s interview, and so ready to hit the stage tomorrow 🩵✨

A huge thank you to @getglambysophia and @haileemorganartistry - you’ve made me feel absolutely beautiful this whole week!

Thank you to @pageantprostrategies - your guidance, strategies, and support has led me to loving every part of my myself and my journey as Miss Battleborn Collegiate ✨ Thank you! 🤍

Thank you @pageantsmart - Your mock interview panel sessions led me to feeling prepared and ready to showcase my story to the judges today!
