A throwback to interviewing Najah Ali, Miss Nevada USA 2024 🤍

Moments like this are where I bring my two worlds together—journalism and pageantry. Through storytelling, I’m able to highlight women who are using their titles for purpose, impact, and change, while also using my own platform to amplify voices that deserve to be heard. ✨

Prelims are complete and my heart is so full✨

Words can’t describe how grateful and blessed I feel to have had the opportunity to step on the Robinson stage and compete for the title of Miss Collegiate America 🤍

Looking back on how far I’ve come, I couldn’t be more proud! I’m incredibly grateful for the @misshighschoolamericaorg and the village that has supported me and helped shape me into the person I was on that stage tonight 🫶🏽

And these White Parade photos? Absolutely to die for! 😍 Thank you @sheldonsmithsports for capturing such beautiful moments and @muzziesprom for sponsoring this year’s White Parade✨

Third time’s the charm!

My heart is full as I reflect on yet another fulfilling NABJ convention experience.

For me, this year was a culmination of gratitude, success, endurance, and an intoxicating sense of community.

From reconnecting with familiar faces, churning out stories from the convention, sharing my industry experiences at my first NABJ panel, to walking across the main stage with @msuabj as we took home Student Chapter of the Year, I couldn’t help but feel proud, rejuvenated, accomplished, and inspired to tell stories that matter.

This post is also a personal reminder that I have more to tell from the last year, so stay tuned!

Aside from the panels, my favorite part of NABJ is running into some of my favorite journalists and meeting people in the industry I’ve looked up to for years!

Shoutout to my alma mater for winning NABJ Student Chapter of the Year! @msuabj
