What a journey to Black Belt. Thank you to all of my instructors over the years and all of my training partners and teammates who have helped me make it to this point. I can’t believe I got my Black Belt from @renzograciebjj yesterday, and yes, I am still in shock. Thank you to @jon_calestine for being not only an incredible instructor, but a great friend who I have had the opportunity to train under and learn from for so many years. Thank you to @tarzancr for also being such a great instructor and friend who helped tremendously in creating the Renzo BK Women’s Class. I wouldn’t be coaching without Ariel and Jon, so I am forever thankful to have you both in my life. Thank you @daisuke_yamaji, you are the man, and I am so appreciative for all of your support and instruction throughout all of these years. Thank you @eleonicardoso for your guidance and for giving me the opportunity to coach here at Renzo BK and believing in me. I am especially so happy to be able to help out with our Kids Program and run the Women’s Class; this is my dream job. @renzograciebrooklyn is my happy place, and I get to work and train here, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Special Thank You to: @jeppuda @mattacq @ruskinmatt @phillipenover @ginagesualdo318 @kristindoeblin @rosanna_scimeca_art_life @calmesebrennan @isa100kg @bbhedelson @gregthegoldmedalist @frankie_beansie @forgetoflow @oldladyperfume Aldrin, Carl, @ottaviabourdain and of course @danielgracie. Lastly, thank you to the love of my life @diamonddavescombatclub for introducing me to MMA when we first started dating and getting me a Gi and a membership to train at Renzo BK for an anniversary present many years ago because without you, none of this would have happened. taken in Renzo Gracie Fight Academy by @joybkg

It’s been 1 year since I started teaching this class @kingscombatwillyb under @jon_calestine and I must say I couldn’t be happier getting to share the mats with everyone here. There is something very special at this gym, you just have to train here and find out.
