Race recap Washington DC mixed doubles @los200
Proud of the effort we made getting 1:10:30 and finishing AG 10th out 152 teams.
Season opener did not go as planned but we fought through it.
We worked together great but our transitions were just not as smooth as in the past.
Now to regroup and prepare for Tampa in 6 weeks. We are not done yet. #hyrox #hyroxtraining @mybcfit taken in Washington D. C. by @joyce.runs

Hyrox DC 2026
Mixed doubles (1:10:30)
10th/152 (AG 45-49)

The Good: Felt good on the runs and pacing held even as fatigue set in. Very proud of our rox zone time. Finished 3rd in AG in Rox zone time. Even as I tired, Joyce kept us moving in the Rox zone. Communication was excellent. Feel we helped each other and worked through this race as a team.

Needs work: Transitions. Unfortunately with not a lot of workouts together, transitions were not 100% fluid as we have been in past. Back 1/2 finish. Unfortunately I didn’t have the push for lunges. Got to get more efficient and quicker. Wall ball no reps. I had 7 no reps (missed target) and need to clean it up.

6 weeks till Tampa. Back to work!

Dori and I joined forces this time around. First ever woman’s pro doubles for both of us. We had to navigate training, strategy all in theory and trust in each other as we were states away. We nailed our first race. We will be back again.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommas!
Hard to believe I became pregnant at the same time as I lost my mom. Everyday as a mom for me is such a blessing. I love watching them grow every step of the way. I could not do that without my teammate in life @mark.abdo76 thank you for giving me the gift of enjoying all the small things. by @joyce.runs

Took on the Vintage 5k Sunday, a great fitness test after Hyrox.
🥈 overall female and 🥇 AG
Results weren't what I aimed for, but I'm happy I didn't give up. Jumped in without any specific 5k training still recovering from hyrox and vacationing. Next time I’ll be better prepared for the results I want. Hit my Hyrox workout after racing, 550 cals row/lunge then wbs. Now, it's all about NYC Hyrox - strategizing, resting, recovering, and training smart. The Season is not over yet. @mybcfit by @joyce.runs

Houston Hyrox Women’s Pro did not disappoint. I knew this event would be hard but I decided to tackle it this time again. The sleds were sticky but I held my own. Could not have made it to the start line without some of my favorite people!

Late post but worth the wait!
Our Houston Hyrox mixed relay team made some serious magic happen, grabbing 🥉 and setting a 6 minute PR from Dallas in a stacked division over 40.
