✨ It’s here... our next JOY event! ✨

My heart is so full to finally be sharing this with you. 💛

JOY – The Joy of You was created because every woman deserves to feel seen, valued and reminded of who she is, especially during life’s hardest moments.

Whether you’re grieving the loss of someone you love, navigating a diagnosis, rebuilding after a relationship breakdown, or simply carrying the weight of everyday life... so many women just keep going. They keep showing up for everyone else, often forgetting themselves in the process.

That’s why JOY exists.

Every ticket purchased helps us continue providing our free monthly makeover clinics for women facing adversity, giving them the chance to reconnect with themselves, rebuild confidence and remember that they matter too.
This evening is about so much more than a beautiful night out. It’s about community. It’s about celebrating local businesses through our incredible raffle prizes. It’s about raising awareness so more women can be nominated to receive the support they deserve. Most of all, it’s about spreading JOY.

📍 Swarling Manor, near Canterbury, Kent
📅 Saturday 14th November 2026
✨ £70 per person

Your ticket includes:
🥂 A welcome drink
🍽️ A delicious three-course meal
🎶 Entertainment
💛 An unforgettable evening—all while supporting an incredible cause.

Every penny of profit goes directly back into JOY, helping us reach even more women who need us.
Ticket details will be shared over the weekend, but for now I’d be so grateful if you could share, tag your friends, and help us spread the word.

Let’s fill every seat.
Let’s celebrate one another.
Let’s support local businesses.
Let’s help more women find their JOY.

Because when women come together, incredible things happen. 💛 taken in Kent, United Kingdom by @joyofyoukent

✨Sometimes it’s the smallest details that mean the most. ✨

Today I had the privilege of completing this beautiful lady’s journey with 3-D medical areola tattooingfollowing her post-mastectomy breast reconstruction.

The sweetest part? She asked for a tiny heart to be included for her daughter, who has been so incredibly brave throughout her mummy’s breast cancer journey💛

Every 3-D medical areola tattooing treatment I provide through J.O.Y is offered completely free of charge because every woman deserves to have her moment... to feel whole again.

If you, or someone you know, would like to find out more about accessing 3-D medical areola tattooing through J.O.Y, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’d love to help💛 by @joyofyoukent

You don’t have to be at breaking point to deserve a little J.O.Y.💛

Sometimes it’s the women who quietly keep everything together who need someone to show up for them, too.

At J.O.Y, we meet women navigating grief, illness, trauma and some of life’s most difficult chapters.

But you don’t need to compare your struggles with somebody else’s to deserve kindness, care or a moment that’s just for you.

J.O.Y’a free wellbeing clinics are about so much more than treatments. They’re about listening, connection and reminding women that they matter.

Do you know a woman who could benefit from a little J.O.Y?

Our nominations are always open, just follow the LINK IN BIO or pop me a DM 💛

Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most. 🤍

At 75, this lovely lady was nominated to J.O.Y by her daughter.

With a compromised immune system, her individual health circumstances needed careful consideration. We chose to take our time, spreading her treatment over three separate sessions, allowing me to assess her healing and response before proceeding.

No rushing. No one-size-fits-all approach. Just thoughtful, individual care.

Hearing her speak about her experience and how much it meant to her is exactly why I created J.O.Y.

Because J.O.Y has never been just about the treatment. It’s about the woman sitting in front of me, her story, and making sure she feels heard, valued and cared for.

If you know a woman navigating one of life’s most difficult chapters who could benefit from a little J.O.Y, nominations are always welcome. 🤍

So, what exactly is J.O.Y? 💛

J.O.Y stands for The Joy Of You.

It’s a little something I created with a very big purpose.

J.O.Y offers completely free wellbeing clinics for women who are navigating some of life’s hardest moments.

Grief, cancer, domestic abuse, loss, trauma or simply a time when life has turned completely upside down.

It’s about so much more than a treatment.

It’s about giving women a safe space to feel heard, cared for and reminded that they matter. Sometimes it’s also about helping them find support and a way forward when everything feels overwhelming.

Every woman who walks through my door has her own story. And every single one deserves a little joy. 💛

If you know a woman who could benefit from J.O.Y, please do get in touch. The LINk is in my BIO. Nominations are always welcome and how J.O.Y is spreed.

Because sometimes the smallest moments of care can mean everything.

Sophie x

I’ve nearly posted this so many times and then changed my mind. But I think it’s time you met the person behind the reason I created J.O.Y. 💛

This is my Dad.

I lost him suddenly, with absolutely no warning, and my world fell apart.

But while my world had stopped, life hadn’t.

I still had a one-year-old, a seven-year-old and a sixteen-year-old who needed their mum. I still had to get up. I still had to go to work. I still had to somehow pull myself together on the days when all I wanted to do was fall apart.

And I think that’s something we don’t talk about enough.

Sometimes something happens that completely tips your world off its axis — grief, illness, a diagnosis, caring for someone you love, domestic abuse, divorce, trauma — but everything else keeps moving.

People still need you.
Children still need you.
Work still needs doing.
Life keeps going, even when you don’t feel ready to go with it.

That became such a huge part of why I created J.O.Y.

Because sometimes you just need two hours where you don’t have to be the strong one.

Two hours where you can sit down and say, this is shit. This isn’t fair. I don’t know what I’m doing or how I’m supposed to navigate this.

And somebody listens.

Maybe you have a treatment. Maybe you talk. Maybe you laugh. Maybe you cry. Maybe I can point you towards somebody else who can help.

And then hopefully you leave feeling just a tiny bit more able to go back to everything and everyone who needs you.

J.O.Y was never about fixing anyone. I couldn’t have been “fixed” either.

It’s about giving a woman a safe place to land when life has taken her down a path she never expected to be walking — and reminding her that there are other people walking that path too.

Yes, J.O.Y provide free treatments. But the treatment has never really been the whole point.

It’s the chair.
The conversation.
The time.
The safe space.
The signposting.
And for those couple of hours, not having to be the strong one.

I couldn’t change what happened to me.

But I could take something from it and create the place I wish I’d known existed when my own world fell apart.

J.O.Y is a little bit of his legacy too. 💛 taken in Herne Bay, Kent by @joyofyoukent

This is Ashton. 🤍
19 years old. A son. A brother. A daddy.

Ashton lost his life after being stabbed.

Today, his mum Camille came through the doors of J.O.Y.

Camille is living through something no mother should ever have to live through, but amongst that unimaginable grief she is trying to create change — change that could potentially save somebody else’s child.

Camille wants publicly accessible bleed kits available in our towns, in the same way we now see defibrillators.

When catastrophic bleeding happens, every second matters. Having the right equipment accessible while emergency help is on its way could make a difference.

I wanted to help where I can and have created a petition with Camille’s full support calling for publicly accessible bleed kits across the UK.

Please sign it. Please share it. Please talk about it.

Because behind this petition is a mum who has lost her son and is somehow finding the strength to try to protect somebody else’s.

With Camille’s permission, swipe to see how Ash’s family celebrated his birthday since losing him. I just found this beautiful. In such a dark time, there was still so much love and light, and Ash was right at the heart of it. 💛

This is why 💛

This lovely lady was nominated by her husband, and reading her words afterwards… this is J.O.Y. This is exactly why it exists.

So please, keep those nominations coming. There are so many women out there who could do with a little bit of J.O.Y in their lives.

And with our J.O.Y Winter Ball coming up, every ticket sold, every raffle ticket bought and every incredible prize donated means we can do MORE. More clinics, more treatments, reach more women. That simple.

Once a year we fundraise. The rest of the year, we put it straight back into J.O.Y. 💛

So come to the ball. Buy a raffle ticket. Share our page. Nominate someone.

It all helps us reach the next woman who might just need us. 💛 by @joyofyoukent

This is exactly why J.O.Y exists. 🤍

Lauren was nominated by her lovely friend and is about to begin chemotherapy.

Before treatment starts, we gave her her brows — following the shape she already knows as her. So that if and when her hair begins to fall, hopefully there’s one less little thing for her to lose along the way.

But J.O.Y has never really been about the treatment.

It’s about having somewhere to land when life suddenly looks completely different.

A diagnosis. Grief. Divorce. Losing a job. Caring for someone you love. Whatever it may be, sometimes your world changes overnight — and even surrounded by people who love you, it can feel incredibly lonely.

J.O.Y — The Joy Of You — is a safe little harbour for women navigating that new world. A place to talk, to be cared for, to have a little bit of self-love and, hopefully, leave feeling a little more like you. 🤍

Lauren’s friend has also set up a GoFundMe to help her beautiful family make memories together. I’ll be sharing the link in my stories — if you’re able to donate, even a little, it would mean so much. And if you can’t, a share can travel further than you realise.

✨J.O.Y✨

June saw another beautiful JOY Clinic.
This lovely lady was nominated by her daughter, who wanted her mum to have a moment that was just for her.

JOY was created from my own experience of grief. One thing I’ve learnt is that grief doesn’t leave. Whether it’s 5, 10 or 15 years later, losing your person changes you. It can strip away parts of your identity and leave you wondering who you are now. Even a diagnosis, a divorce, any life change, there is grief for that version of how your life once looked.

JOY isn’t about fixing that.

It’s about offering a small moment where the outside noise quietens. A moment to reconnect with yourself. A little reminder that underneath it all, you are still there💛

For the past 3 years, JOY has provided free clinics every single month, and I’m so excited that we’re now expanding into London too, making nominations more accessible beyond Kent.
JOY is a nomination-based CIC. If you know someone navigating a path they never chose, and you’d love to gift them a moment that’s purely for them, please nominate them via the JOY page on my website.

Because sometimes the smallest acts of kindness create the biggest glimmers of light. ✨

Please share this post so more people know JOY exists 🤍

✨J.O.Y has a new London home ✨

I’m so incredibly grateful to now be hosting J.O.Y clinics at the beautiful Liarna Jessica Clinic in London Bridge — a space that feels calm, safe, serene and so aligned with everything J.O.Y stands for.

This is such a huge step for J.O.Y.
Not only does it allow us to reach more women, but the space also gives us the opportunity to introduce something really special… side-by-side treatments for nominated mums & daughters, sisters or friends. A shared moment of care, together.
This will enable me to invite Guest Artists to join me for the day💛

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Liarna Jessica for becoming an Angel of J.O.Y.
Your kindness and generosity means more than words.
J.O.Y exists for women who may not be in a position to choose self-care for themselves right now. Mental health and self-care are so deeply connected, and sometimes all someone needs is a moment to remember they are still there beneath everything life has handed them.
Please keep your nominations coming ✨

Visit sophiedoddspmu.com → click JOY → complete the nomination form and select the clinic easiest for your nominee to travel to: Kent, London or Liverpool.

JOY is growing… and I truly cannot wait to see what the next 12 months brings 💛 taken in London, United Kingdom by @joyofyoukent
