Hi, I’m James, a certified Bowen Therapist serving the Algarve region in Portugal. I practice a soft-tissue technique designed to help your body restore balance and function.

Bowen therapy draws from the same principles as chiropractic and osteopathy, but no spinal manipulations are invovled in treatment. Instead, Bowen therapy targets soft tissue (muscles and connective tissues) to encourage your body’s natural healing processes and restore alignment.

This approach can:

Aid injury recovery and prevention
Improve mobility and flexibility
Support emotional well-being
Improve digestion and sleep quality
Achieve long-lasting results

✨🌊 Season 2 is coming to a close here in beautiful North Devon, it was an absolute blast and it was made so special by all of the incredible people I've met this year. From awesome waves to unforgettable paddleboarding experiences, it was so much fun to share these moments with you all.
