Super excited to share my latest single “Starchaser” with the world. ☺️

At the moment I tend to make my best music when abroad, and Starchaser is no different. At the time of writing I had a sort of nostalgic feeling of love for new places, whilst simultaneously missing home.

The first half focuses on lighthearted trancey leads, followed by dark atmospheric pads and an aggressive 303 baseline in the second half. At the end these conflicting sounds resolve, with some nice full-sounding chords to sprinkle on top.

I still feel a bit lost navigating this music thing not gonna lie. But feel like I’m finallyyy starting to find my sound and be confident in what I’m making, and I can’t wait to share all my new ideas with you soon. 🥳

In the meantime, you can check out Starchaser in all the usual places. And if you’re feeling extra kind it’s Bandcamp Friday today - you can cop it through the link in my bio. 😉 @jsssssson

Tomorrow we celebrate at @groovetank_live with an ambient set from myself, followed by three hours of b2bs with @tomleggatt @medc___ and @nam_darl. All while raising money for @safeonlycic, who are working to prevent abuse in the music industry through welfare services and training. 💫

𝓘𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓭𝓾𝓬𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓓𝓻𝓲𝓯𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓑𝓮𝓪𝓽 ... 😌

Excited to launch a new show concept and alter ego this week on @loose.fm!

This year I’ve been exploring lots of slower, calmer sounds; looking for new ways to relax in an increasingly busy, chaotic and stressful world.

Heavily inspired by @solstice.festival and @mama_snake_ @martinou3000’s four-hour 2024 @draaimolen_ set, Drifting Beat is all about moving slowly through genres, from one feeling to another, and being in the present.

For the first instalment, expect a mindful hour of ambient and trip-hop, fused with dubby house and hypnotic, minimal techno.

Tune into @loose.fm 8-9pm this Wednesday to listen. ✨ taken in London by @jsssssson

Really enjoyed taking over @groovetank_live for my release party the other week 🥳

Love to @tomleggatt @medc___ @nam_darl for playing and everyone else who came. ❤️ Will share the sets on SoundCloud sooon.

Also happy to share that we raised £200 for @safeonlycic, who are working to prevent abuse in the music industry through welfare services and training.

Probably a while until the next one... time to get my head down for the Autumn and make some more music. 😈

Looking for something soundtrack your Friday evening into the weekend?

Happy to share my new ✨ 4 hour ✨ mix I recently put together ☺️

The mix starts with ambient and trip hop, and slowly builds up through house, minimal techno and trance.

Spent loadsss of time in Ableton recently and it also reflects a lot of my production influences over the past six months. Can’t wait to wrap some things up and share more new music soon!!

In the meantime, expect to hear lots of sounds like this at the Starchaser release party on August 8th with @nam_darl @tomleggatt @medc___ . Tickets and link to the mix in bio @jsssssson 🥳
