Don't hide your magic. ✨ °•
The gifts and talents you carry deep inside came to you for a reason.
What if they’re meant to be experienced, lived, shared, appreciated, noticed, felt, loved, or even desired or needed. Needed by you and perhaps by others too.
What if they in fact hold some sort of healing, deeper meaning or sense of freedom?
What part of yourself are you holding back and what would it feel like to finally share it?

Keep still. Don't fight it. Let change happen.
By keeping still, you give yourself the opportunity to feel, for as long as needed, accept and then eventually on to the next step you want to make, giving priority to what you feel is important. Change can feel like grief sometimes and a reroute can feel like the end. It's a process, a redirection that brings you closer to you and finetunes your plan, needs and desires, going forward.

JAZMINE SUMMER | THE INFLUENCER PROJECT 🎬🔥

This one is about to go GLOBAL. 🌍

Jazmine Summer @jsummeracting is hitting screens around the world this autumn as Alice in The Influencer Project, a new found-footage horror thriller with an international release spanning the US, UK, Ireland, Denmark, Russia and more than a dozen territories worldwide.

And there is some serious horror pedigree behind this one...

The Influencer Project comes from producers Eduardo Sánchez and Gregg Hale, the creative forces behind The Blair Witch Project, with Mike Nybroe directing. @mikenybroe

The film follows real-life influencer Chiara King as she travels to Copenhagen with a documentary crew, promising an unfiltered look behind the curtain of her life and online fame.

Then an obsessive follower enters the picture.

And things start getting dark. Very dark. 📱😈

Jazmine plays Alice. Alice is lovely. Alice seems amazing. We like Alice.

That is ALL we are saying. 🤐😂

Jazmine steps into this twisted world alongside Chiara King, Luca Storm, Mike Nybroe and Alexandre Willaume, in a film that plays with the increasingly uncomfortable line between fame and obsession, reality and fiction, follower and predator.

And now audiences around the world are about to get their chance to see it.

The international roll-out kicks off on the 2nd October, with releases across more than a dozen countries throughout October and November. UK and Irish audiences get their turn in cinemas from 16th October, followed by streaming, digital, DVD and Blu-ray releases as the film continues its worldwide rollout. 🌍🍿

We’ve been waiting patiently to talk about this one, and we’re absolutely buzzing to finally see Jazmine up there on the big screen.

Very proud to have Jazmine Summer flying the Fairbanks & Rowe flag on another international feature. @fairbanksandrowe

See you at the cinema. 🎬

“Getting Hit by a Slow-Moving Vehicle” is continuing its journey - now officially selected for the 39th Braunschweig International Film Festival, Nov 10–16, in Braunschweig, Germany. 🙌🏾🎬✨

After premiering at @nordiskpanorama, this beautiful, offbeat story follows a man so incapable of saying no that his life becomes a series of inconvenient commitments - until one day he finds an unexpected way to break free...

I had so much fun working with this team. The set was filled with creativity, laughter, and heart.
I honestly didn’t want to go home after my scene. 🫶🏾
So grateful to have been part of it and to see it keep traveling. Such an important message that we all can relate to, beautifully captured and put together. 🎞️🌿

Every time a freelancer, self-employed person, someone who's depending only on themselves and no employer - like an artist, actor, musician, coach, photographer, MUA or other entrepreneur, shares their work online, they're doing something incredibly vulnerable.

When your income depends on the work you create and the opportunities you build for yourself, hitting "Post" isn't just posting,
it's putting a piece of yourself out into the world and hoping it connects with someone.

Most won't ask for support - not because we don't need it, but because imposter syndrome is real and lack of faith in ones own ability to succeed can be too. Many creatives wonder if they're good enough, if they're posting too much, or not enough, being too "salesy", overpriced, underpriced and/or if anyone even cares sometimes.

Here's what you can do differently online;

🌱 Leave a genuine comment (more than just an emoji) that they can reply to.
🌱 Save their post.
🌱 Share their work/ post/ story with someone who would genuinely enjoy it, and others too.
🌱 Engage consistently. Not just once.

If you truly want to support someone, don't just hit "Like." Leave a comment, save it, share it, and make sure you watch videos until the end. That's what helps the algorithm amplify their work.

In real life;

🌱 Attend their events
🌱 Buy their products, art, or services (and pay full price !)
🌱 Recommend them whenever someone is looking for what they offer.
🌱 Let them know you admire them/ their work/ their bravery and that you believe in them.

And maybe the most meaningful thing you can do is simply ask: "How can I best support you?" <3 taken in Möllevången by @jsummeracting

I'm a Swedish-American actor based in Malmö, with international experience in film, television, and voice work.

I'm drawn to emotionally grounded, human stories and often play women who carry both strength and vulnerability, though I'm always open to exploring different kinds of roles that push me outside my comfort zone.

One example was an audition for an Italian Netflix series, where I played a maid working for a mafia boss, with just two days to learn the entire audition in Italian. I don't speak any Italian 🙂 I had fun while being absolutely terrified. I didn't book the role, but I was shortlisted, which reminded me to stay open and trust the process.

With a background in psychology and personal development, I bring a deep understanding of people, relationships, and human behavior into my work. I love creating characters that feel authentic, alive, and relatable, especially roles that put humanity at the heart of the story and leave audiences feeling something long after the credits roll.

That said, I'd also love to be part of a great heist film or portray a superhero, I'm just as excited by bold, adventurous stories as by deeply emotional dramas.

Alongside acting, I work as a meditation teacher and life coach, supporting fellow actors, creatives, and entrepreneurs as they navigate uncertainty, rejection, and self-doubt, helping them build resilience and trust in their craft and path.

This fall, I'll appear in my first major supporting role in an international feature film, releasing in U.S. theaters in October, it was an absolute joy to be part of. by @jsummeracting

A few great BTS shots by the amazing @photo.mattias. ✨📸

During this project, we spent a full day in a freezing, dark, dirty basement - and during the film before this one I was tied to a wet, ice cold chair for a few hours, in an abandoned building.
What I’ve learned is that, as an actor, using discomfort as fuel, can transform and shape the scene in a much more authentic direction.
In this film I took that unease and used it to ask the hard questions my character had to ask, and my scene partner definitely used the cold to his advantage as well - in his dialogue and physical expression.

Here are my 3 tips on how to utilize discomfort on set:
1) Physical discomfort: cold, hungry, headachy, shoes or clothing too tight, tired? Channel that into your character’s emotional state. How would they feel in this moment?

2) Nervous? Let that fuel your character’s urgency or vulnerability.

3) Tough scene? tap into your character’s strongest need or their win. Ask: what do they need more than anything here? Use the discomfort to fuel your fight for that need -whether it’s love, respect, or safety.

🔥 Bonus tip: When you’re stressed on set, slow down your breath. Deep, calm breathing not only grounds you, but it brings you fully into the moment - making your performance even richer, more trustworthy and authentic. It also connects you to everyone else in the room.
Your breath is your superpower. Really! 🫁

✨ And for the non actors;
In life, when things don’t go as planned;
1. Deep, slow breaths
2.Ask yourself:What can I learn from this? How can I grow from this? How is this possibly FOR me?

You’re still an Actor / Artist - Even in the waiting. Even in the stillness.
Slow seasons are real and they come and go. We just have to learn to ride the waves 🌊
.
Financial stress, self-doubt, comparison, the silence where opportunity used to be, refreshing the inbox fanatically, the wth am I even doing?
It’s OK to name that.
And... it’s also where your craft deepens - if you let it.

During slower periods I lock in on my morning routine, because how we begin the day sets the tone for everything that follows;

➰ Sit at least 10 minutes in complete silence before jumping into the day - no phone.
✨ This helps regulate your nervous system and moves you out of fear/ worry and back into openness. It also connects you to your highest self that is a bit more rational, calm and intentional. ✨

➰ Write or say 3 things you’re grateful for. - even the smallest things.

➰ Write or say 3 things you’re proud of as an artist right now, regardless of where you are - and 3 things that you want to do soon. In present tense ( I Am...)
✨ Gratitude shifts the nervous system.
And for us, that openness is everything. It’s where presence lives, where creativity flows, and where opportunity will meet you.✨

➰ Move your body daily.
Yoga, dance, the gym, a walk in nature, whatever makes you feel good. Your body is your instrument and physical movement, just like meditation, is one of the most powerful ways to release stress and anxiety. 🧘🏽‍♀️🕺🏃🏽‍♀️

Then keep creating:
➰ Record a monologue 📷
➰ Study a performance in a film you love 🎞️
➰ Write a scene and play every character 🎭

🎨 Reach out to another artist. Share ideas. Encourage each other. Create something together. Our community is huge - and sometimes the best thing you can do for your craft is remind another artist that they’re still an artist too. 👯🏽‍♀️💑

✨ The in-between isn’t wasted time.
It’s just preparation for something you just can’t see yet. 🙌🏾✨

Would love to know if this resonates. ⬇️

Hey there,

I’m excited to share that I’ve completed the Master of Wisdom & Meditation Teacher Training at the Davidji Academy.
Over the past five months, I’ve studied deeply and am now a Certified Meditation Teacher connected to Yoga Alliance standards 🙌🏾

This is more than a certification for me - it’s a calling. I am forever grateful to @davidjimeditation and to my beloved friends who’ve encouraged me for years to step fully into this work and to take it seriously. Without you, I probably would’ve continued supporting everyone else’s dreams while ignoring part of my own. 🥰
Meditation has been my anchor through uncertainty for the past 15 years, and now I’m ready to share those tools with others in a bigger way. My goal for this year is to GO BIG and this is a good start. 👑

As an actor, freelancer, single parent, and creative, I know how much uncertainty life can hold. Especially in the acting world, where we’re constantly working on performance, yet rarely talking about the emotional wellbeing and mental resilience it actually takes to sustain this path. 🎬
The constant rejection. The financial uncertainty. The pressure. The comparison. The waiting. The constant questioning of your worth.
We’re expected to keep showing up while carrying all of that internally. And honestly, not enough people are talking about it. I'm happy to do so and to be that to go person for it. 🙏🏾

I’m now offering meditation teaching, group sessions, guided meditations, recordings, and speaking engagements - both online and in person.
If you’d like to meditate with me, collaborate, or bring this work into your organization, course, retreat, or creative space, I’d love to connect. 🌱
Comment or DM!

I also have some ideas on developing a film project that somehow combines all of this 👀

You can find my guided meditations on Insight timer. ⏳ Jazmine Summer. Link is in bio.
Currently there are 2 posted. One on "Embracing Uncertainty" and one on "Trusting the flow of finances" More is on the way. ✨

I spent a couple of beautiful days in Provence with some lovely people, working on a gorgeous project. 🎥 🌿
I had a migraine throughout the entire time so it's been a thing (day 11 now) but rather experiencing them amongst sunlight, great humans, beautiful interiors & exteriors and stunning nature, than at home in the dark and cold Malmö, anytime.

Thank you to my lovely partner in all things on this adventure @hannamaria_modell and to
@camillaglifberg for all the laughter and for casting me. Big thanks to the talented and kind crew at @adventureproduction
Such a pleasure working with you all, along with the sweet kiddos and their awesome parents whom we shared our days and nights with. @fridacon @sebliljeblad and @linneajws 🫶🏾

Also, a big warm thank you to Stefanie at @domaine_de_la_xavoliere for hosting us in your stunning home and for being so wonderful. ♡

There’s so much grief in the world right now. So much pain that our hearts can hardly hold it. And yet, the sun still rises. The breeze still kisses our skin. The earth is still breathtaking, and ancestral wisdom still lives in those who have always belonged to it - Indigenous people, and those deeply rooted in the land, who continue to care for it with quiet devotion.
Even as they are unlawfully deported, displaced, threatened, attacked, dehumanized, silenced or attempted to be erased.

My heart is with Palestine, Sudan, the Congo, Yemen, Haiti, Myanmar and with all people suffering under systems that deny their dignity and freedom.
It's also with us, who thought and continue to think that we are safe and protected in this western society, as we are really all a part of the injustice. In so many different ways.
Not being "allowed" to speak up against horrific wrongdoings toward others, makes us also not free. We really are not free.

I’m learning that joy and sorrow are not opposites. They live side by side. One doesn’t erase the other and we are able to and must feel both.
We can carry heartbreak and anger for what’s happening in the world - and still let beauty, love and compassion move us. Still feel the softness of linen, the warmth of light on our faces and enjoy the majesty of the ocean and each other. Still say thank you. 🙏🏾

This is the human heart. Vast enough to hold it all. Even when it's cracked wide open.♡💔
