this was one of the best nights of my life. and before you think (ugh another highlight reel), I’ll be honest, it’s actually also been one of the most challenging months in my life. One day I’m crying with stress, chewing my nails to till they bleed from anxiety, worried about people’s reactions, the next I’m at the Danish premiere in a beautiful dress celebrating the release of a movie I kept quiet for 3 whole years. A project that affected my personal life too, where the worst thing that ever happened to me, happened to have coincided with this project. It’s crazy how life can be such a beautiful juxtaposition, both light yet dark at the same time. And now it’s here, in cinemas. Life is one big crazy strange fever dream and I’m still trying to soak it all in (crying while I’m writing this because it’s been a real challenge for my self belief tbh). To be able to act and take on a role of a fictionalised version of myself is also bizarre and crazy and surreal. I still feel like I don’t deserve it. It still doesn’t feel real, but anyway, #theinfluencerproject is out in cinemas in Denmark on 29th October as well as the rest of the world right now. Thank you @mikenybroe @alexhertzberg @ahmetzappa for believing in me. I hope you love the film as much as we loved producing it. Please be safe and look after yourself, always🖤

JAZMINE SUMMER | THE INFLUENCER PROJECT 🎬🔥

This one is about to go GLOBAL. 🌍

Jazmine Summer @jsummeracting is hitting screens around the world this autumn as Alice in The Influencer Project, a new found-footage horror thriller with an international release spanning the US, UK, Ireland, Denmark, Russia and more than a dozen territories worldwide.

And there is some serious horror pedigree behind this one...

The Influencer Project comes from producers Eduardo Sánchez and Gregg Hale, the creative forces behind The Blair Witch Project, with Mike Nybroe directing. @mikenybroe

The film follows real-life influencer Chiara King as she travels to Copenhagen with a documentary crew, promising an unfiltered look behind the curtain of her life and online fame.

Then an obsessive follower enters the picture.

And things start getting dark. Very dark. 📱😈

Jazmine plays Alice. Alice is lovely. Alice seems amazing. We like Alice.

That is ALL we are saying. 🤐😂

Jazmine steps into this twisted world alongside Chiara King, Luca Storm, Mike Nybroe and Alexandre Willaume, in a film that plays with the increasingly uncomfortable line between fame and obsession, reality and fiction, follower and predator.

And now audiences around the world are about to get their chance to see it.

The international roll-out kicks off on the 2nd October, with releases across more than a dozen countries throughout October and November. UK and Irish audiences get their turn in cinemas from 16th October, followed by streaming, digital, DVD and Blu-ray releases as the film continues its worldwide rollout. 🌍🍿

We’ve been waiting patiently to talk about this one, and we’re absolutely buzzing to finally see Jazmine up there on the big screen.

People often ask me; "how's the yoga in the park going" or say "congrats on the new coaching degree!" And it's so funny because anything mindfulness related tends to just get called yoga. By some of my own frends included 😆 so it's very common and I can totally see why this happens.

What I actually practice AND teach is Meditation.
Yoga is a whole philosophy, an eight limbed path, and the physical postures people usually connect it with (Asana) are just one limb of it.
Meditation is a separate limb, and that's the one I teach. There's a deep rabbit hole to journey down on this but we'll leave that for another conversation. :)

Meditation can help with stress, irritability, fear of the unknown and of the future, lack of focus, worry and anxiety which most of us are dealing with on some level. It surely has helped me to invite some new thoughts instead of replaying yesterday's so very often.
They say we have about 60,000 - 70,000 thoughts a day and that around 90 percent of them are repetitive from the previous day. That is wild.

Personally, meditation strengthens my intuition a lot and keeps me inspired, hopeful and balanced. It sparks an overwhelmingly amount of creativity too. Ask me if I have any notebooks with ideas in them, haha. 🙈💡🗒️

I'm usually told that I have a calm, present energy / aura and definitely give meditation the credit for most of that. In single parenting, dealing with migraines, being self-employed, it supports me tremendously and in my acting career too,
Not just while I'm working on set, but in preparation, communication and most importantly in the space between jobs, during the waiting.
The rejection and the not knowing/ uncertainty can get the best of us down for sure.
I'm much better at trusting, letting go and allowing, where I'd be swept away with worry, lack of patience or feelings of failure before.

I now teach it because I want to demystify it, so that others can see how simple it really can be and also so powerful and transformational.
The hardest part isn't the meditating itself, it's just getting yourself to sit down and take time for yourself.

Portraits.

I love the conversation that comes out of making them. Why do you do what you do? What makes you happy. Do you know? Where are you going? A wise and grounded person can reflect on this in one way. Totally different conversation with someone who is not where he/she/they want/need to be. And the why sounds different.

I'm a Swedish-American actor based in Malmö, with international experience in film, television, and voice work.

I'm drawn to emotionally grounded, human stories and often play women who carry both strength and vulnerability, though I'm always open to exploring different kinds of roles that push me outside my comfort zone.

One example was an audition for an Italian Netflix series, where I played a maid working for a mafia boss, with just two days to learn the entire audition in Italian. I don't speak any Italian 🙂 I had fun while being absolutely terrified. I didn't book the role, but I was shortlisted, which reminded me to stay open and trust the process.

With a background in psychology and personal development, I bring a deep understanding of people, relationships, and human behavior into my work. I love creating characters that feel authentic, alive, and relatable, especially roles that put humanity at the heart of the story and leave audiences feeling something long after the credits roll.

That said, I'd also love to be part of a great heist film or portray a superhero, I'm just as excited by bold, adventurous stories as by deeply emotional dramas.

Alongside acting, I work as a meditation teacher and life coach, supporting fellow actors, creatives, and entrepreneurs as they navigate uncertainty, rejection, and self-doubt, helping them build resilience and trust in their craft and path.

This fall, I'll appear in my first major supporting role in an international feature film, releasing in U.S. theaters in October, it was an absolute joy to be part of.

Meeting up with Jazmine this autumn was such a good thing. We chatted like crazy (much needed swedish fika+girltime) and I tried the new prism I bought. Really think it will become a useful companion for portraits. I like the playfulness creative vibe it gives.
