Our first 7 figure year in business and by all means it is only the beginning. Very little days off in the past 12 months but when we did, we did it right - 18 days off out of 365 is insane ✅ 🔝

Banged it up from the west straight into the Waingapu ‘Karnaval’

Serious shift in the sun.

Love the east! 🫶🏼

Welcome to Wai Wei Lewa School! ❤️

Thanks to your support, Wai Wei Lewa School is the first school where we will provide nutritious meals to students for an entire year.

Together, we are helping fight malnutrition and stunting while giving children the opportunity to learn and thrive with a proper school lunch every day.

From all of us at EffortX, thank you for making this possible. And thank you big Ness for getting me it done and helping us raise funds and awareness for the problems here in Sumba @drnessancostello

If you’d like to help more schools receive daily meals, please continue supporting our mission. 🙏❤️

WAI-WEI

On day 3 of the Sumba60 run, @dimas_elshaday and @aldydelavega organised the most awe-inspiring escort 5k away from the pilot school for our meals programme.

Words cannot describe the experience. We hope the visuals do.

Sumba has our heart. More than ever.

It’s as much a blessing to receive as it is to give sometimes.

Thank you, WAI-WEI.

The first night of the run, we slept here, at Mercy Indonesia.

One of the most worldview-expanding experiences we have had in all our time and experiences serving.

People are quick to call this kind of thing a cliché (the foreigner abroad, the child crying on camera). Stand in the room and that noise disappears.

Caring about what others think becomes a low priority, and the question of how to care for them becomes our only focus.

From here we run across Sumba, stopping at schools, foundations, and orphanages to collect stories, raise awareness, and help feed the next generation of children here on Sumba island.

Feed them with us for as little as $1: https://www.effort.giving/project/provide-school-meals-in-sumba taken in Sumba Island by @jt.effortx
