First and foremost I would like to thank the @bluestarsmarseille organization for giving me the opportunity to showcase my skills on the French gridiron. I would like to thank my teammates/brothers for a great season knowing none of my success would be possible without all of you. I would like to thank all our coaches for their hard work as well. I would like to thank everyone who made game days possible along with some special shout outs to our media team @elias_elgt @diane.eventphotography @victoriaa.28. It was one hell of an experience with a lot of ups and downs but I will always be proud to be part of the Bluestar family.

Here are some highlights from the 2023 season. I hope you enjoy.

Introducing Exported Athlete - and our Head Mentor - Joe Zanca.

The defensive tackle built his career at DePauw University, where he established himself as one of the most feared defensive players in the conference.

In his final season, he was named Conference Defensive Player of the Year, one of many accolades earned during a dominant collegiate career.

Truly a force offensive coordinators have to game plan for week in and week out.

At DePauw, Zanca totaled 14 sacks and 34 tackles for loss, consistently disrupting offenses and setting the tone up front.

Following college, he gained professional experience in arena football, spending time with Arena Football teams including the Quad City Steamwheelers.

Zanca made an immediate impact in his first season overseas with the Marseille Blue Stars in France, recording 7.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss.

His performance led the Blue Stars to a National Championship appearance and earned him Import MVP honors, solidifying his reputation as a difference-maker at the professional level.

He has now signed with the Munich Cowboys, a historic and competitive program in GFL1, the premier domestic league in Europe, where he will continue his professional career. by @jtank80
