Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Blessed and grateful for all the people in and around my life! ❤️

Managed to get my first Bonito ever with Tyler and I keeping Donald Roberts streak alive of no skunks! Hope the albies come back through; too much empty water! by @jtflyfishing

It’s truly hard to put into words experiencing the Fly Fishing World Championships. Met some incredible people and made some great new friends from all across the world. Truly special week, topped off with Team USA taking gold and Michael Bradley placing first individually!

Huge and special thanks to @giannulifederico for being the best travel mate; couldn’t have done it without you!

What a great morning with Northwest CT Trout Unlimited. Code cracker for the day was a drab jig streamer popped under a float. Sometimes you gotta think outside the box!

One of the best chapters in the state, NWTU put out a great spread and some awesome camaraderie. If you fish or live in the NW corner, head to one of there meetings or events.

We’ve finally received some much needed rains. With that, Farmington River flows have crested into the 600cfs range, making this a great time to fish streamers! We have a ton of local favorite patterns from Rich Strolis in stock ready for this moment! Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or need advice on how to target trout on streamers, we’ve got you covered!

Joey gives a breakdown on some shop favorites, as well as a quick tip on tippet choice/rigging for these flies.

Joey made the magic happen with these two very shallow feeding fish right at sunset. Still no bowfin, unfortunately! It can be remarkable just how willing carp are when the conditions are all to their liking, and by proxy just how UNwilling the bowfin can be even when it all seems right!
