I am currently reading Powerless by @laurenrobertslibrary and yall I’m eating this book up right now!! I decided to make a bookmark for it because I love the book so much already.

Making DIY bookmarks has always been something I enjoyed doing. I make the collages myself on @canva then I print them out, laminate, hole punch, and put the tassel through the hole.

Do you guys like it? 🥹 I love it!

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ birthday gifts ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

Hi everyone, it’s been a few months since I’ve posted on here. My life has been a series of ups and downs the past few months. My grandmother passed away October 20, so for my birthday I spent it at her funeral and didn’t get a “normal” birthday which was pretty depressing. However, before she passed away I made my twin sister blind dates with a book for one of her birthday presents. Can you guys guess which books I got her? I tried to match the decorations with the book cover and I left a few hints on the outside of the book.

My husband and my twin teamed up and got me 23 (+) books for my 23rd birthday. I took a picture of the books they got me. I was not allowed to buy books for a while because my husband didn’t want me to accidentally buy one they already got me, so I have not bought books in a few months. I have not been able to read much either except on my kindle during the trip to Puerto Rico for my grandmother’s funeral. I have been so busy and behind on schoolwork every week I try to catch up.

I don’t know how often I can post because of how busy the end of the semester is right now, but I wanted to give you guys a little update on my life.

I do miss this page and being on bookstagram. 🫶🏻

I love you all! 🤍

❀*ੈ𑁍༘⋆ happy release day ❀*ੈ𑁍༘⋆

If you want a good summer read that is both spicy and mysterious definitely give Our Darkest Summer by @authorhangaepavel a read!!

I was fortunate enough to be able to receive the ARC which I want to give a huge thank you to Hanga for giving me the privilege of reading her work before it was released to the world!

If you want to read a book that’s like The Summer I Turned Pretty (but more adult version if you know what I mean 😉) mixed with A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder then definitely read this book. Also, if you’re a romance girly trying to expand your horizon and maybe want to start reading mystery books this is a great start since it’s both mystery and romance!

Both the e-book and physical copy are available on Amazon now!! 💜

⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪ Happy Release Day ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪

My favorite author just released a new book Not In Love 💜

I cannot wait to read it! Here is the blurb from good reads in case you guys are interested ✨

A forbidden, secret affair proves that all’s fair in love and science.

Rue Siebert might not have it all, but she has enough: a few friends she can always count on, the financial stability she yearned for as a kid, and a successful career as a biotech engineer at Kline, one of the most promising start-ups in the field of food science. Her world is stable, pleasant, and hard-fought. Until a hostile takeover and its offensively attractive front man threatens to bring it all crumbling down.

Eli Killgore and his business partners want Kline, period. Eli has his own reasons for pushing this deal through - and he’s a man who gets what he wants. With one burning exception: Rue. The woman he can’t stop thinking about. The woman who’s off-limits to him.

Torn between loyalty and an undeniable attraction, Rue and Eli throw caution out the lab and the boardroom windows. Their affair is secret, no-strings-attached, and has a built-in deadline: the day one of their companies will prevail. But the heart is risky business - one that plays for keeps.

Let me know if you guys are planning on reading it? 🪻

5/5 ⭐️

Thoughts: my only regret is not reading this book sooner. ALEX VOLKOV!!!! Ana created a beautiful cold hearted man. And Ava Chen finally a fmc who did NOT annoy me 😅 the story itself was so entertaining and enjoyable. I laughed and shed a few tears. My heart broke into pieces, but also got fixed. There were things in the story that I was not expecting and some that I expected, but it was still so so good! I will forever rave about this book.

I highly recommend it and I cannot wait to finish this series and read all of Ana’s other books because she is officially one of my favorite authors. 🩵

Also, special shoutout to the lovely @bookswithani_ because she definitely inspired me to decorate the cover pages for fun. I wanted to include how I envisioned the main characters to look like on the page too. 🫶🏻 definitely give her a follow if you don’t already follow her!

I also actually wanted to annotate while reading this book which was a first, but I had fun annotating as well! 🫶🏻

I started The Fine Print by Lauren Asher yesterday and I am already loving it as well. I love me some grumpy cold hearted men.

Rating: 3.5/5 ⭐️

Thoughts on the book: There were parts that I loved, but there were parts I found weird or just boring. Towards the end I was bored of the book and I had to convince myself to finish it. I thought her whole family dynamic was weird especially her relationship with her sister’s husband. I enjoyed Rhett, but Summer was just not my favorite fmc. It was definitely not a terrible book, but just not my favorite. I liked Jasper and Cade, so I am hoping I’ll enjoy their stories more.

I do recommend the book! 🫶🏻

If you read the book what are your thoughts? 💞

𐙚˙⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 new kindle 𐙚˙⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩

I got the kindle paperwhite in agave green. The screen is a bit bigger than my last one. I am beyond excited to use it to read especially in my reading room because I bought the holder and page turner, so I can just click the button to read the next page. This was honestly the highlight of my week. 🥺

I loved decorating it and printed out stickers using my canon ivy mini printer. I have everything I love on there: Bridgerton, Queen Charlotte, Stefan Salvatore, Gossip Girl (+ forehead kisses), Kirby, the bat boys, princess belle, bows, enemies to lovers trope, and my husband. 🎀 I am obsessed with how it turned out!

I finished Flawless this week and I’ll post my review tomorrow or Sunday! 🩷 I am reading Twisted Love and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT so far. 🥺 @authoranahuang is about to be my next favorite author alongside Ali Hazelwood and Taylor Torres.

Let me know what you guys are currently reading and if you ever read the Twisted Series+ your thoughts on it? 🫶🏻

It’s been about two weeks since I’ve posted because I just didn’t have time to take pictures. These past two weeks were pretty eventful because my older sister graduated and my dad came to visit, so I mostly spent it with family. I have made some progress in ACOWAR, but honestly I have not even looked or thought of reading Flawless because it got kind of boring. I need y’all to motivate me to finish it 😅

How has your week been? I miss y’all so much! I love you all 🫶🏻🫶🏻💚

★ yesterday was the best day of my life because I finally got to see @hamiltonmusical and with my favorite people in the world (my hubby and twin)!!! It was seriously the best experience ever. I have to say that Trey Curtis was a really great A. Ham. and he is probably the best one in my opinion. I wish I could watch the musical every weekend to experience it all over again.

★ I hope you all are having a wonderful Mother’s Day whether you’re spending it with family or alone. I’m sending you all so much love.

★ I have the Alex and Eliza trilogy by @authormelissadelacruz I definitely recommend it if you like the musical. It’s a cute story!
