First Time Caller by B.K Borison
☎️ REVIEW ☎️

rating: 4/5⭐️
spice level: 2/5🌶️
from the get go, i felt so deeply connected Lucie, her confession was so raw and beautiful at the same time. not gonna lie, Aiden was a hit or miss for me. there were moments that made me giggle and blush, but he did give me the ick quite a bit.

as for the plot, i thought the beginning was quite slow, and also a little rushed throughout the middle that it felt a little jumpy. but for someone who works a 9-5 this pacing really helped me get through the book faster. the ending really had me on a choke hold, i loved the conclusion, it sparked up some hope for romance.

overall, i thought this book was an enjoyable in between book. if you need a fast pace romance, that focuses on character growth and the main characters relationship, this book is for you. i’d also say this book felt like a warm hug during a rainfall at night, it gave me some sort of comfort feeling and overall just clenched my chest.
