One of the most memorable experiences from my recent trip to New Zealand with my brother was this hike to Roy’s Peak summit 🏔️

Easily the best and most rewarding sunrise I have ever experienced and my favourite hike to date

We summited in under 3 hours however this was a crazy effort on our behalf. We both train hard year round and consider ourselves very fit. If you are planning to give this hike a shot I would allow the recommended 5-6 hours (minimum!) for the return journey. It is non-stop incline from the start to finish 😅

We smashed it in <4 hours so we could spend the second half of the day snowboarding 🤣
Could barely walk the next day. Never doing that shit again 🤕
