things i wish i knew before starting my fitness journey as a parent: 1. you don’t need hours in the gym. 45 minutes, 4 times a week, did more than any “perfect” plan i never started 2. food matters more than training. i trained hard for months and barely changed until i fixed what i ate 3. sleep will be rough sometimes. progress gets slower, not impossible. a bad week isn’t a reason to quit 4. protein at breakfast changed everything. stopped the all-afternoon snacking 5. walking counts. steps with the kids, walks to the gym — it all adds up 6. you don’t need a separate “diet meal” from the family. same food, different portions 7. don’t compare yourself to people with no kids and all day free. different game 8. the scales lie day to day. judge the trend over weeks, not one morning 9. start now, not when life calms down. with kids, it never calms down what would you add? drop it below 👇 #fitnessjourney #weightlossjourney #fatlossjourney #dadfitness #fitnessmotivation parentfitness by @jtvsjt_
