“Alfonsina y el Mar” tells the story of Alfonsina Storni, the Argentinian poet who ended her life in 1938 by walking into the sea. The song is written as a gentle farewell singing her pain, her courage, and her final step toward the water.

Performing to this piece alongside @monahallab , who holds it so deeply in her heart, made the moment even more meaningful.

I improvised the in-betweens, it’s a long and emotional piece, entering from the audience as directed by @julien.arrete , who helped me understand and truly feel the story before stepping on stage. That guidance allowed me to embody it fully and let the waves of sound and movement carry me, letting her voice echo through me 💙🌊

Grateful to have shared this experience with you both.

• Straps Improvisation •

I officially started specializing in straps this year in January. I know it's a long journey ahead of me, and I'm so excited for it, enjoying the small gains.

Here I am improvising on it in the quickest most efficient shoot I've had in my life, with @gabeghost for @aerial_edge in Scotland, and I'm very stunned with the outcome. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again 💜

A little recap of my Poi Creativity Workshop at JamJam Fest @jamjam.collectif ! 💜

I came in with a plan, but ended up following my intuition and drawing from the many tools I've gathered over the years through movement, theatre, and circus training.

Through improvisation, creative prompts, and partner exercises, we explored movement, play, connection, and new possibilities with our poi.

I've always wanted to bridge my movement facilitation practice with prop manipulation. I've experimented with it in the past, but this time it came together more naturally.

It feels like a natural evolution of my teaching practice, and I'm excited to keep exploring this approach in future workshops!

Thank you to everyone who joined with curiosity and openness! ✨

I was invited to join Off the Chain II at @cabaretdecuriosites by @bonbonbombay, who had seen my act at @unbookable.cirque ✨

It was an honor, but also a challenge ~ the ceiling was much lower than what my act was originally created for, so I had to adapt and rework it in many ways. But as usual, constraints have a way of pushing us to get creative, explore new possibilities, and discover something different in the work.

Little did I know I’d also get to share the stage with such an incredible group of artists, each bringing so much depth, artistry, and their own unique world to the evening.

Thank you @bonbonbombay and @cabaretdecuriosites for inviting me into this beautiful space, and to all the artists I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with. ✨💜

Thank you @mrcmzk for recording me🫂and of course supporting me🪷
