A love that makes no sense
We feel it nonetheless
A stupid pair of friends
the rise and falling of your chest
How can we build upon something
as meaningless as this.

"Finding my place in this world and who I want to be in it has been a winding and rocky path, but knowing who I am and understanding myself is something I take very seriously.

"As a queer woman I'm always looking for role models to look up to and I find this in women who are good at expressing their wants, histories and emotional worlds in a resonant way.

"I might be lost without women who sing."

Judee // Edinburgh
July 2026

Still stunned from the results of this shoot with Judee earlier this week - my third for this reflective portraiture project.

Inspired by the song of the same name, it is based around its themes, including: beauty, identity, darkness, reflection and fear.

Big thanks to Judee for trusting me and to her friend - and now mine - Meredith @m.rbttm for assisting with some beautiful light! 🖤✨🖤

More to come.. and look out for the full interview with Judee later!

All shot live in-camera, no photoshopping or AI! 🤗

Hi!!! Me and my newest friend Malak are starting an art gallery in Edinburgh!

Over the summer we will be having shows both outside and inside for artists who are a bit different and who don’t get to exhibit very often. If thats you, you should get us at Queer as Punk at the Wee Red bar on Saturday or send a message to TheRabbitCouncil (or me) and also a picture of your art or a clip of your soundwork 🐇 by @judeejose
