Some days I’m a teacher running on coffee ☕️
Some days I’m a mom with a baby on my hip 👶
Some days I’m a wife doing life with my best friend 🤍
Some days I’m missing home 🇿🇦
Some days I’m building a life in Abu Dhabi 🇦🇪
Most days… I’m doing all of it at once.

Between lesson plans, content creation, Why-Not Wednesdays, and raising my little boy and being a wife 🩵
🇿🇦 🇦🇪 This is my beautifully chaotic life ✨

Not perfect. Not quiet. And I’m proud of every part of it. 🤍

POV: You’re a tired teacher, a working mom AND someone still asks “What’s for dinner?” every single night 😭😂

Back-to-school season has reminded me that it’s not actually the cooking I hate… it’s deciding WHAT to cook every. single. day. 🫠

So I’ve been trying @hellochef here in the UAE and honestly, having our meals planned, ingredients delivered and everything portioned out has taken one more thing off my mental load. 🙌

Tonight was Classic Spaghetti Bolognese 🍝 and even this very-much-NOT-a-cooking-influencer managed to pull it off. 😂

If you’re another busy teacher, working mom or just someone who is DONE answering “what are we eating tonight?” — you can get AED 400 OFF your first 4 Hello Chef boxes with my code:
✨ HELLOJUFFROU ✨
AED 125 + 110 + 90 + 75 OFF = AED 400 saving

Save this for your next “I have absolutely no idea what to make for dinner” evening. 😂🤍

POV: When it’s Teacher Appreciation Day and suddenly everyone remembers you exist 😌🍎

We’ll take the compliments, the coffee, the chocolates… and maybe even a quiet class if we’re really lucky. 😂

Happy Teacher Appreciation Day to all the teachers doing the absolute most every single day. 🤍

Okayyyy… where have I been?! 😂🥹

I feel like I blinked and suddenly it’s been a MONTH since I posted anything properly.

Life has just been LIFE lately. We all got so sick, my little boy had a pretty rough time with an infection, and then of course I got sick too. 🤧 It honestly knocked us both completely.

On top of that, there’s been a lot happening behind the scenes with our little family, and I just haven’t had the energy (or the headspace) to create content.

So I’ve basically taken an accidental little social media break 😂

But I’m slowly feeling like myself again, and I’m SO ready to catch you up on everything I’ve missed. 🤍

Thank you to everyone who still messaged, checked in and stuck around while I disappeared. 🥹

Been sick ALL week and at this point I’m convinced this is just part of the teacher job description. 😭🤧

You teach, you mark, you plan… and apparently you collect every germ going around the school too. 😂

Teacher life: surviving one virus at a time. 🦠
