This October, I’m inviting women everywhere in the world 🌍 to move with me for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The FitLikeMummy MOVE FOR HER Challenge is simple:

🎀 2 KM EVERY DAY
📅 1–31 October
🔥 31 days
🏁 62 KM total

Walk it. Run it. Hike it. Run/walk it. Do it outside, on a treadmill, around your neighbourhood, on holiday, before work or after the school run.

Your pace doesn’t matter.
Your location doesn’t matter.
Showing up does.

We move for the women we love.
We move for the women we’ve lost.
We move for the women still fighting.
And we move for ourselves. 💗

I'm starting TODAY • 1 October. Who’s joining me?

👇 COMMENT “I’M IN 🎀” and tag a woman you want beside you for the next 31 days.

Share your daily 2 KM and tag @FitLikeMummy so I can follow your journey and reshare your progress.

SAVE this post so you can come back to it throughout October. 🎀

Real talk with a fellow South African mama abroad 🇿🇦✨

There’s something so special about connecting with women who are navigating motherhood, teaching, and life far from home—while still holding onto their roots. 🌍

I loved this conversation with “Juffrou in Abu Dhabi”—a teacher, content creator, and mom who keeps it honest about the beautiful (and sometimes challenging) reality of raising a little one while living abroad.

From leading with empathy in the classroom to embracing “survival mode” on tough days—this is your reminder that you’re doing better than you think. 💛

✨ Swipe through to read her story, her heart, and her mom wisdom.

If you’re a mama abroad, a teacher, or just someone who needed to hear this today—this one’s for you.

Iftar at a 7-star hotel in Abu Dhabi 🌙

We recently experienced iftar at Emirates Palace and it was honestly one of the most memorable evenings we’ve had in a while.

From the beautiful setting and incredible buffet to what might just be the best dessert table I’ve ever seen… every detail was thoughtfully done.

The food, the service, the atmosphere - everything was just exceptional, and sharing it with close friends made it even more special 🤍

This is definitely an iftar we’ll be coming back to every year.

A little henna moment to get ready for a special iftar tonight - and just in time for Eid 🌙

Such a beautiful Ramadan tradition and always one of my favourite ways to slow down and enjoy the season.

This was a lovely collab with @siirii.henna_ and if you’re still planning to get your henna done for Eid, her remaining slots are very limited - so be sure to book soon ✨

Country Clubs are all the Vibes at the moment!

We had so much fun designing and creating this beautifully elegant golf set up for a baby boy who turned a “HOLE 1” years old 😁

We even gave him is own putting green…

Thank you to the amazing venue @baloos_abudhabi for always being so accommodating and welcoming.

You’re not hoping for a better life.
You’re designing one — with intention.

A vision board isn’t woo.
It’s a visual contract with your future self.
It keeps your goals loud. Your excuses quiet.

How to build yours (in 20 minutes):
1️⃣ Choose your timeframe: 3, 6 or 12 months
2️⃣ Pick 4–6 life areas:
- Health
- Career
- Money
- Relationships
- Travel
- Mindset
3️⃣ Write 1–2 clear goals per area
“Train 4x/week.”
“Save AED 10k.”
“Run 10km.”
4️⃣ Find images + words that make you feel something
5️⃣ Add identity statements:
“I am consistent.”
“I keep promises to myself.”
6️⃣ Build your board:
Biggest goal in the centre
Group the rest around it
7️⃣ Add 3 action steps at the bottom (the HOW):
“Meal prep Sundays / Gym Mon-Wed-Fri / 8k steps daily”
8️⃣ Place it where you’ll see it every day
Daily: look at it and ask,
“What’s one thing I’ll do today?”

Don’t make it perfect.
Make it real.
Make it visible.

Design the life you actually want.
Thanks @kriselda_isaacs for bringing us Saffas together. 🇿🇦
