Earlier this month, I was in Prague when @theatrenorthwestpg did a reading of U-R-U (my play inspired by Capek's R.U.R.) - I saw the original text @ngprague the same day. Kismet, I think. Grateful for the read and everyone involved, I was definitely there in spirit. (Also, their posters are great.) by @juliaalederer

Love that I got to interview my Canadian friend @juliaalederer. Julia is a screenwriter and playwright living in Los Angeles. We met in acting class at @hbstudionyc. In this episode, Julia talks about her critically acclaimed play @withlove.andamajororgan and how she turned it into a feature film that premiered at @sxsw. The script won “Best Screenplay” at the @femalefilmmakersfestival This is a great episode for anyone interested in doing the film festival circuit! by @juliaalederer

This is today— the first time The Minister of Loneliness will have an audience. It’s the culmination of my work as part of @circlextheatre’s Evolving Playwrights Group, which began with the question: “Pitch us your impossible play.”

I’ve been so lucky to work with @jenniferchambers13 (who is so smart and patient and supportive) on this piece the whole time - who directed the reading today, and now to have @therebeccametz, @nagdoggie & @kathaan lend their talents to performing it. It’s not an easy one (it started as impossible!) and they are amazing.
Thanks to a better playwrights group and facilitators than I could’ve ever invented in my own brain- @danaschwartz24 @ajajyesyesyes @criseliblak @verotjioe @westongaylord @leehannahconrads @simi_fulton and to @jenniferkays . This has been artistically challenging in the best ways, incredibly inspiring, rewarding, and so much fun. Here goes this last part. taken in Circle X Theatre by @juliaalederer
