The publication "Dialog Beyond Disciplines" moves between disciplines – where boundaries blur, perspectives shift, and new ways of thinking about design emerge through exchange. As part of a joint project, the two authors and designers Corinna Gratzl and Julia Klass visited renowned design studios and institutions in Italy, the Netherlands, France, and Germany.

There, they interviewed and photographed designers and experts, who work across disciplines at the intersection of architecture, scenography, product design, craftsmanship, graphic design, art, and science, in their working environments. A selection of these interviews, in situ photographs, and object scans are brought together in the publication. An additional glossary provides a general overview of open-disciplinary working methods. Design and architecture journalist Jasmin Jouhar was invited to conduct an introductory foreword interview with the two authors.

Vorbestellung

Erscheinungstermin Dezember 2025

Our exhibition at @munich_creative_business_week was all about coming together 🔗

As part of our project space, CONNECT invited visitors to take part in a series of live interventions—from leaving thoughts on a Connection Wall made from a 60-meter-long climbing rope, to knotting pendants from paracord and beads, and simply connecting over music and drinks at our Connection After Hours. 🪢

Thanks to everyone who joined, shared, knotted, or left a note! And a big thank you to our amazing supporters! <3 taken in Munich, Germany by @juliaklass.eu
