I’m opening up a limited number of mini photo sessions this fall. 🍂 One date each weekend of October…

📍 Seattle — October 3 📍 Gig Harbor — October 10 📍 North Bend — October 18 📍 Tacoma — October 30

These will be short and sweet 25-minute sessions to capture your family in this fleeting season. Sessions are $475 and include 40 images.

Past clients + my email list will get first access to booking Sunday, September 20 at 12pm PST. Sessions open to everyone else on Monday, September 21 at 12pm PST.

I used to go more neutral for our family photos because it’s easier to coordinate outfits and you can easily work with things you already own. But if you put in a little effort, bold colors and patterns can feel cohesive and intentional, with so much added energy and visual interest! 💥 And it just feels right with little kids. ☺️

One last bonus tip: if you get pieces from one clothes collection, the colors will most likely work well together! For this shoot, the tops for the older three boys were purchased at the same time from @_bobochoses_ (the cutest collection!).

My dream luxury before motherhood was a trip overseas. In this season with five little boys, it’s an escape right at home.

It’s warm water. Massaging jets. A beautiful backyard. And thirty uninterrupted minutes where nobody needs a snack. 💆🏻‍♀️ ✨

So naturally, choosing a hot tub was way more exciting than it probably should have been!

I was delighted to visit the new @bullfrog_spas showroom in Federal Way, Washington. Not only do they make incredible hot tubs, but they also let you design the layout, choose from their patented interchangeable JetPaks, and customize the finishes.

There are few things more relaxing than soaking in hot water. And I’m not the type to sacrifice aesthetics for comfort. 💁🏻‍♀️ This hot tub is going to look so good in our backyard!!

Last December, I became a mom of five boys. Then came the longest winter of my life. I thought things would feel lighter once the sun came out. Instead, I’ve been slow to catch up. I still feel like I just had a baby, yet somehow we’re already in the middle of summer.

I was supposed to still be pregnant!! After 4 consistently late babies and the busiest December, I was so sure I’d have at least a few days after Christmas to get my life and home in order, but baby boy didn’t want to miss out on the holidays! Due on Christmas Day and born just hours later, our newest pride and joy…

Last few days before Christmas. I wish we could go back!!! It was extra magical this year. We had more guests and events than usual. And it went by faster than usual. Baby shower #5 called for brunch with zero cooking and prep for my girlfriends, who have spoiled me with some beautiful showers over the years! (Except @lenamanchik still brought a few little floral arrangements for the tables because how could she not?!) I haven’t had a birthday party for over a decade but I love celebrating my pregnancies!

After brunch, a handful of us walked around U Village and shopped for a few hours on a Saturday afternoon… a true luxury for someone who only shops online these days and doesn’t remember what it’s like to shop with company that’s not tired kids! So lucky to have so many good girlfriends to celebrate this life with.

But he got the couch to himself for his movie while I was productive!

Last two “finished” clips by @kyndalscampervan cause right after outdoor lights were hung, we left to pick up the kids. 🙃
