Another Manchik baby boy was added to @juliamanchik and @yuriymanchik boy crew, and he’s just about as cute as they can come!

It’s not every day you get to be pregnant along side a friend who is also pregnant, but for Julia and I, the last 2 pregnancies have been just that! Thankful for her friendship and for her baby knowledge she shares with me 🫶

From our visit to @timberstilts for @shey.kingdom.keys.pnw birthday last month. Use code LENASKITCHEN to get 15% off your stay directly with them. Book by the end of the year to stay at this magical house on stilts in Cle Elum, WA.
.
Core memories made, dancing by the fire, good food shared, sunsets watched, hot tub time enjoyed and @coavacoffee lattes sipped on. Thank you @juliamanchik and @yuriymanchik for creating such a special place to visit. Next time snow needs to fall too. The magic of Christmas was for sure present. Can’t wait to come back.

But he got the couch to himself for his movie while I was productive!

Last two “finished” clips by @kyndalscampervan cause right after outdoor lights were hung, we left to pick up the kids. 🙃

Link in bio to book a stay while the cabin is at peak cozy! Decor will be up through January. 🎄

If you’re looking to escape gloomy fall weather, we’re just a 2.5 hour drive from Seattle. Temps are historically 10+ degrees warmer than the west side and we often see temps in the 70’s through October!

Rolling out updated photos thanks to the talented @juliamanchik and can’t wait to share more. The view of the Columbia River from our back patio can’t be beat!

The @londonplaneseattle was a magical place, where you could arrange a bouquet, get a cup of coffee, buy some fancy ribbon, and read at the bar while you waited for your breakfast with a pastry.

One of the best baked goods we made at that legendary establishment was a buttermilk biscuit. It was sweet, a tiny bit cakey, topped with a generous sprinkle of flaky sea salt, and when ordered “for here,” it was served with a tiny dollop of housemade crème fraîche and jam.

Katherine Anderson, owner of The London Plane, artist, and aesthetic visionary, among many other things, recently published The London Plane Flower & Cook Book. It’s a beautiful, seasonal guide that offers a glimpse of the decade-long moment that was The LP.

And though her @booklarder event with yasuaki (the former Managing Owner of LP!) was sold out, you can still make it to a couple events... including one here, at The Wayland Mill, at which you can also buy frozen LONDON PLANE BUTTERMILK BISCUITS! Plus, chat and hang out with Katherine and yasuaki, and check out our space if you haven’t been in yet!

Pick up is June 8th, quantities of the biscuits are limited. We’ll be selling them *frozen only* but you can get $5 off the book if you pre-order it for pick up this Sunday, with or without the biscuits ;)

But IYKYK how freaking amazing they are, so come visit us this Sunday - we’ll be here between 10am - 3pm for books and frozen biscuits only.

Link in bio! Get those biscuits while they’re... frozen!!

PS - could not for the life of me find a photo of the dang biscuits with creme fraiche & jam in my own archives - the last pic is by the talented @juliamanchik 📸
