“My siblings and I used to joke that we ate chicken every single night,” Juliana Latif tells CULTURED.

The chef grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut, above her family’s Middle Eastern grocery and takeaway counter, where her mother cooked. The biggest lesson Latif learned there? “Treat the neighborhood like family.” That ethos is coming full circle at @cleodowntown, the new Three Top Hospitality joint where Latif heads the kitchen. Restaurateurs Halley Chambers and Kip Green sought inspiration for the new West Village hotspot in London’s Lebanese rotisserie shops, where Latif remembers them saying, “the chicken is the vessel.”

Link in bio to read more about the restaurant making rotisserie cool again.

The day has come, @cleodowntown is here for the world to see!
There are not enough words to explain how I feel about this restaurant and the journey it’s been. @kipgleize @____halley____ thank you for trusting me, pushing me and hyping me up everyday, I am so grateful. #chickenbitches4ever
I would not have been able to show up everyday without @ivowashere, the man is insane!!! He does not stop working, always finds a solution and always manages to make me laugh. No better running buddy in the world. Thank you for being you.
To @the.unreal.chris & @gavenvanni thank you for making the vision a reality. I am the luckiest chef in the world. by @juliana_intesar
