Meet the Cast!
Julianne Dowler is an actor, singer, writer and producer who travelled all the way from Arkansas to LA to be in this series! @juliannedowler has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, produced the wildly successful indie feature @d.e.admovie and was the producer on Aisha’s debut short @blocked.film. She plays our strictest therapist, which was very difficult because she has a laugh that lights up a room!

Check her out in episode 2 of Is This Normal? and then send her some ice packs to help heal the ruler slaps.

We are safe. We are together. That’s all that matters.

THIS WAS OUR HOME.

The Eaton Canyon Fires burned down our house, all belongings, and our entire neighborhood.

We are OVERWHELMED by the love, support & check-ins from our friends, family, and everyone around the world. YOU ARE ALL SO KIND. We are truly grateful & thankful for everything. We love you all. 🖤

I am sooo very proud to finally announce that I made a short film called #BLOCKED (yay!!) It is a love letter to motherhood—the impossibility, insanity and futility. But also the way Mamas just have to pick up and keep going and that is a level of love that is deeper than a Rumi poem.

Please go follow @blocked.film for the trailers (coming out soon), announcements about festivals, and to support a tired-ass Mama making art!

HUGE thank you to the whole team that helped make this happen (everyone is tagged) I look forward to announcing some exciting stuff soon. Stay tuned!
