🏰Remote Inner Castle 🏰 by Julia Jesionek alludes to a metaphor used by Lacan, who describes the human psyche as a fortress filled with boundaries, fractures, and conflicts. Through a multimedia approach combining animation and painting, the work depicts the mutual interdependence of two protagonists - the maggot and the princess. Running until Friday 10th July 2026! Our current exhibition „Remote Inner Castle“ by Julia Jesionek is running until 10th July 2026. Thank you for the amazing opening and exhibition @juliaquarius 🤍🏰🐛🌹 „Remote Inner Castle“ aims to reveal the permanent internal tension between intuition and rationality. Through the contrasting protagonists - the Princess and the Maggot - Julia Jesionek creates dreamlike scenes and portraits in Nexus Nails, using painting and digital animation. Motifs of a castle recur throughout the exhibition: vines, ornaments, stately architecture, and the princess’s interior. Jesionek refers to a metaphor by Lacan, who describes the human psyche as a fortress full of boundaries, fractures, and conflicts. Wiederkehrend erscheinen in „Remote Inner Castle“ Motive eines Schlosses: Ranken, Ornamente, herrschaftliche Architektur oder das Interieur der Prinzessin.
