$🏰Remote Inner Castle 🏰 by Julia Jesionek alludes to a metaphor used by Lacan, who describes the human psyche as a fortress filled with boundaries, fractures, and conflicts. Through a multimedia approach combining animation and painting, the work depicts the mutual interdependence of two protagonists - the maggot and the princess. Running until Friday 10th July 2026! $Our current exhibition „Remote Inner Castle“ by Julia Jesionek is running until 10th July 2026. Thank you for the amazing opening and exhibition @juliaquarius 🤍🏰🐛🌹 „Remote Inner Castle“ aims to reveal the permanent internal tension between intuition and rationality. Through the contrasting protagonists - the Princess and the Maggot - Julia Jesionek creates dreamlike scenes and portraits in Nexus Nails, using painting and digital animation. Motifs of a castle recur throughout the exhibition: vines, ornaments, stately architecture, and the princess’s interior. Jesionek refers to a metaphor by Lacan, who describes the human psyche as a fortress full of boundaries, fractures, and conflicts. The shopwindow is visible 24/7, come over! 🎀 @juliaquarius Invited by @hypernormalisa & @zoe.catherine.garcia Supported by Kunst- und Kulturstiftung der Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf & Kulturamt der Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf Photo: @maximalokay$

@juliaquarius Invited by @hypernormalisa & @zoe.catherine.garcia The exhibition is supported by Kunst und Kulturstiftung der Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf & @kulturamtduesseldorf$
