Join us in opposing the attack on our ability to vote by mail. Right now, the administration continues to push a radical and dangerous executive order that will make a mess of the public’s ability to vote by mail. This is not only reckless, but a clear demonstration of election sabotage that will have real consequences on who can vote and how, and on election outcomes.

Approximately 30% of voters, nearly 47 million Americans, likely including you, voted by mail in 2024. It is a long-standing, reliable way to participate in our free and democratic elections. And it works. All states have reliable policies and protocols in place to ensure vote-by-mail is safe and secure, and no USPS rule/regulation or executive order conflicts with them.

If this Executive Order is not blocked by the courts, it could throw vote-by-mail systems nationwide into chaos. It would create a new federal database - on the fly - to determine who is eligible to vote, instead of relying on the established state systems that are already in place and working. It would also make it a felony for postal workers to deliver ballots to people who have not been verified by this new federal system, all just weeks before our national elections.

And even more concerning, the Postal Service has now officially released a protocol for implementing the order.

We are calling on the USPS Board of Governors to stand with us and defend our right to vote.The Postal Service is failing a basic test of common sense by asking postal workers to verify voter eligibility, a responsibility that the Constitution clearly assigns to each state’s election officials.The USPS’s job is to deliver America’s mail, not to decide who is eligible to receive a ballot.

IN AMERICA, VOTERS PICK OUR LEADERS, AND WE DECIDE OUR FUTURE! This administration wants to keep us from voting so they can control our elections and seize more authoritarian power. They’re doing everything they can to make us feel isolated and powerless. We refuse to accept this.
