Grateful for my people. They are my world 🤍. #givethanks by @juliecantera

Sedona, Arizona 💛 10•12•2025

Happy one year anniversary this week to Caroline and Emilio! I never created a post to commemorate this unforgettable day celebrating the union of these two light filled souls. The memories are still fresh as it seems like yesterday we gathered as family and friends to celebrate in this breathtaking setting with Ryan officiating 🏜️.

We are so grateful to have Emilio in our family and I have loved watching this couple continue to flourish and grow side and side. Love you both so much!

What if the very winds that
challenge us are same
that God uses to lift us?

This week I got to sit down with my
darling friend Julie Canterra and
we pondered this truth

“Wind Waking” and
Elder Renlund’s invitation to trust the
promises of Jesus Christ

Sometimes life is stormy

Sometimes there isn’t even enough
wind to get our kite off the ground

But our covenants connect us to the One

I love Martha’s words when everything seemed lost
“But I know, that even now...”

“Come, let us go up!” Women of Covenant Leadership 2026 🌿🤍… our hearts were truly “knit together” as we shared our hearts with one another and were taught by brilliant, grounded covenant women.

Our minds and spirits expanded as we worshiped and learned in the Lord’s house together. We returned home changed women more determined than ever to walk side by side with the Savior Jesus Christ as we further His work on the earth and prepare the world for His second coming 🌿🤍🌿.

What if belief is more than
simply agreeing with truth?
.
What if belief is trusting Jesus enough
to step onto the bridge
before you know how everything
will work out?
.
Throughout history—
from Abraham to Moses,
from the Pilgrims to the pioneers,
from Alma’s people
to our own families—
God has always invited
His children
to walk forward by faith
before they could
see the destination
.
Jesus never promised
a life without storms
.
He promised Himself
.
As Alma taught,
when people turned to Christ,
“their souls were illuminated
by the light of the everlasting word”
and “their souls did expand.”
.
Belief changes us
.
It loosens chains
.
It enlarges hearts
.
It fills darkness with light
.
If you’re carrying something heavy today...
.
Hear His invitation:

“Be not afraid, only believe.”🤍🤍🤍 by @juliecantera

Happy 1st birthday today to our sunshine girl ☀️💛☀️. Grace radiates pure joy and has brought so much goodness into our lives. Thank you Sophie and Scott for raising such a delightful little one … she is beloved for sure! by @juliecantera

Many of you know my mother is a remarkable quilter and I am beyond blessed to have this hand quilted masterpiece hanging in our home ❤️. I remember the hours she spent designing the pattern, finding fabrics and stitching each unique appliqué. This quilt has won awards and now warms our hearts and hallway as a tribute to her craftsmanship (seriously, HOW does she make those stitches so small?!). We have been blessed by the numerous “Janice quilts” throughout the years and hope this one is will be a treasured heirloom for our family.

Thanks Mom! by @juliecantera

I love closing out the year with a predawn hike, especially as the sunrise peeks behind the mountains painting the sky a brilliant pink for a brief moment ✨.

How grateful I am for the “pink sky” moments in 2025, as fleeting as they may have been …. Time spent with family and friends, the wedding of a daughter, the birth of a grandchild, riding on horseback through the woods, ice on the trees reflecting the moonlight on the trail, gathering with family to share memories in Michigan, small acts of service and noticing God’s fingerprints, time alone with Chris in the California sunshine, watching a Sedona sunrise from our perch on Cathedral Rock, strengthening my testimony in Missouri and Nauvoo with covenant women, rich gospel study, loving on my activity day girls, books read and listened to, and quiet, contemplative time spent in the temple.

Sending love to each of you dear ones as the year wraps up today. May you also, with gratitude, reflect on the “pink sky” moments from 2025 and watch for them each day in 2026 💕. by @juliecantera

Joy to the World 🌟 Christmas 2025. My heart is full! by @juliecantera

Like many of you, I emerged from conference weekend brimming with hope, with the fire of testimony burning, and a resolve to practice temperance, walk in charity and be an example of peacemaking.

My conference weekend began Friday morning reading Abinadi, quoting Isaiah, from The Book of Mormon:

“And then shall they say: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those that bring good tidings of good, that publish peace; that bring good tidings of good, that publish salvation; that say unto Zion: Thy God reigneth!

And O how beautiful upon the mountains were their feet!

And again, how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those that are still publishing peace!

And O how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who shall hereafter publish peace, yea, from this time henceforth and forever!“ (Mosiah 15:14-17).

These words rang in my heart this morning during the predawn hours standing on this mountain and reflecting on the words of those who “published peace” this weekend.

Ahh, what a feast it will be revisiting each of these messages over the next six months ❤️.

If you’re looking for a place to study the talks each week, join us on IG live with @drbarbaramorgangardner Monday mornings at 9am. It’s a community of remarkable women who are passionate about the gospel and dedicating our lives to the Savior as we “speak up and speak out” regarding the eternal doctrines and principles of Jesus Christ 🌿. #lds #women #testimony #discipleship #generalconference by @juliecantera

This ✨. This morning I captured the spot where I was walking while listening to Sister Sheri Dew repeat this scripture from a timeless devotional address to BYU students in 2000: “And we ask thee, Holy Father, that thy servants may go forth from this house armed with thy power, and that thy name may be upon them, and thy glory be round about them, and thine angels have charge over them…” (D&C 109:22).

As I listened to the final few minutes of her message, my eyes gazed over the valley right as the sunrise touched the Oquirrh mountains and lit up the Taylorsville temple. This transcendent scene was a little “God wink” for today and it touched my heart.

God is so good. What a tender moment to bask in creation and remember the promises of President Nelson, the temple, and our personal angels. Indeed, “every sincere seeker of Jesus Christ will find him in the temple.”

Thank you @christiansoverculture for posting the clip from Sheri Dew’s talk “Living on the Lord’s Side of the Line.” 💛 (link in bio) by @juliecantera
