A weekend in our favorite mountain town. Ouray CO.
We got to do all the fun high adventures we haven't done in the past. This big kid phase of life is so fun!

Tahoe was so fun this summer! Beach everyday, welding shop, hikes, bikes, waterfalls, the bog, lunch with PaPa. All our favorite things minus Matt. Sure missed him being there! by @juliegillrie

We accomplished a scripture reading goal as a family (we are 1/4 way through the Book of Mormon!) As a reward I scheduled a behind the scenes Giraffe tour at the zoo. Mary has been obsessed with giraffes for years and it was such a fun experience! by @juliegillrie

SAD 4th of July this year. Mary and I had Vegas Dance Nationals while Matt and the kids carried on at home in our name. I was shocked how unpatriotic the Vegas Strip was. no decoration, no comrodery, no celebration. We got a measly 8 min firework show and that's it😭 BUT I carried the banner, wore my most obnoxious 4th of July outfits the entire week, and made the best of it! 🇺🇲❤️🤍💙 by @juliegillrie

Spring break! Got permits to hike the chains at Angels Landing. Kids did so great, got a cookie cheers with the girls at the rop!!!!! Rented a razor, had a few adventures and spent a day at the hot springs. by @juliegillrie
