POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

a few months ago the thought of “what is my purpose” weighed heavily on the heart. I had just graduated college and truly was trying to find my purpose and passion in what I was going to do next.

The Lord revealed to me that being obedient to him is my purpose and He is my passion! I always “knew” this but never truly believed that was enough. I had the mindset of, “my purpose is to love God, AND______(fill in the blank). Normally what I would use to fill in the blank was something that uplifted myself or a passion I had in that moment.

It is so easy to get distracted. we try to “fulfill” the purpose that God has given us in our lives, we misplace that purpose as a career path, moving somewhere awesome, or over saturating our lives with Gods creation, not God. We lose sight of our true purpose which is to simply serve and love God!

I wanted to share this painting I did a few months ago. I look at it everyday and am reminded of my purpose and how it is a privilege to be able to love and serve a God so Holy! I am enough because of Him!! The Lord is kind and gives us purpose in what we do, in this season painting is how I want to serve and love God.

Thank you for following along 🎀 I hope you will stay around, exciting things are ahead ! by @juls_paints
