Clinic Day 6 and Medical Supply Delivery Day!
The last clinic day was my favorite. The tears that were shed on this day came from a heart that had been humbled and postured by the people in this village. In Vista Alegre, we were greeted with a celebration, a parade of sorts. The excitement and gratitude expressed by its people before we had even begun to serve them was one of the most beautiful and tear jerking things I have ever experienced. Joy was the theme of what I felt throughout this trip, but humility as Gods servant is what I learned. My yoke is to obey His Word and His direction, and He does the rest! Mix of Clinic Days 4/5!
These days were full of joy. I never expected to feel right at home in a place I had never been to but the excitement and delight from the villagers and our team just brightened the entire atmosphere. I loved Llipa and Rajan! We had lots of fun worshipped the Lord through upbeat songs in the car, and even more fun getting to know the patients in triage! taken in Llipa, Ancash, Peru by @julsannasmith

Mix of Clinic Days 2/3!
Clinic day 2 was probably the hardest for me. However, in the hardship there was still joy! This day in La Ensenada moved the fastest and felt a little overwhelming at times, but my soul remained in rest in the knowledge that we were truly making a difference and helping people.
Clinic day 3 was one of my favorite days. It was the first clinic where we traveled up over 10,000ft to Aco. The mountains and scenery were beautiful, but nothing topped the stars we saw at night. Every star was so clear, and it made me appreciate the intentionality of our creator even more. There are millions of stars in the sky, and there are millions of people on this earth. He made the stars, He made you and I, and He made the people we were serving in these villages. To be so far from home and really have perspective build of His true and abounding love for all creation only made me love Him more! taken in Aco, Ancash, Peru by @julsannasmith

Clinic Day 1!
Honestly, I had no clue what to expect on this first day. Our leaders had given us clear instructions and guidelines, but I was still anticipating what all Jesus was going to do. We were each assigned roles and tasks, and I couldn’t help but think about the body of Christ. Each and every person has a purpose, and it gives me great comfort and joy that God doesn’t leave us to figure it out on our own. The community on this trip worked together to play into everyone’s strengths, and uplifted each other when things became a little difficult. The patience and perseverance I saw in this team is something I will never forget. The joy and humility of Jicamarca and its people blew me away as well. I was also able to share the gospel with a young girl who I will forever be impacted by. This definitely started Clinic Days on a high for me! taken in Jicamarca, Lima, Peru by @julsannasmith
