i am so lucky 🌸

attended my first flower workshop, taught by none other than my sister! 🥹🌷

she turned her love and passion for flowers into this amazing little business, and now she’s helping other people discover the joy of creating with flowers, too.

watching her build something from something she genuinely loves makes me so happy and proud. she inspires me in more ways than she probably realizes, and i feel so lucky to call her my sister. by @julsvenida

November 10, 2025 — my birthday in Japan! 🥹
also the coldest day of the week at 9 degrees 🥶

always wanted to try the Japanese Christmas strawberry shortcake, but alas, it's only available for pre-order 🥹

walked around a local market to see the raw fish 🍣 and to get Japanese pastries from the local bakery 🍋

trying their lemon-shaped pastry here! got to eat it outside by their bench! おいしい

in front of the bakery was a Hawaiian-themed coffee shop ran by an ojisan おじさん ☕️
it was my 2nd cup of the day!

another one checked off my bucketlist—
hanging my coat inside a restaurant! wahaha!
always wanted to experience this because i see it all the time watching movies and anime 😂

we had such a great time exploring the one-of-a-kind shops here 😍 so much to see!

some shops i remember:
Christmas designed scented candles
Christmas tree ornaments (some are glass/ceramic)
beautiful mugs
chocolate covered strawberries
Glühwein (mulled wine)
spiked hot chocolate
and lots more!

don't even know how i survived June 😱

it was eventful, to say the least. 😅
did a lot of things i've never done before like my first pilates and dance class to bar hopping in BGC until 3am.
it's like i'm a teenager again (but with adult money lmao) 😂

also spent a week in Manila at my sister's house for a little change of pace from my life in Tagaytay. needless to say, it was a good decision (even though my mom made tampo haha) 🥲

saw a lot of my closest friends and spent time with my family almost every week!
still was able to spend some needed time for myself 🥹

loved every second of this month 🫶🏻 (even if it was a little tiring for an old soul and introvert like me 😂)

A few months ago, if you told me I’d willingly let someone stick needles all over my body, I would’ve laughed. 😅

And yet, here we are.

These days, acupuncture at @centroholistico has become part of my routine. Not because I’m looking for a miracle cure, but because living with lupus has taught me to be open to things that help me feel a little more like myself.

An hour of lying still.
An hour of doing absolutely nothing.
An hour where my only job is to rest.

For someone who always feels like she should be doing something, that’s probably the most healing part.

I can’t tell you it’s the reason for any specific improvement. What I can tell you is that I leave each session feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to my body than when I walked in.

And lately, that feels worth making time for. 🫶🏻

May, oh May, you were a good one 🫶🏻

although you started off a little rocky, i made the most of you by spending time with the people i love and who love me back — including myself.

i’ve always been an overgiver, so MAYbe you were teaching me that i deserve some of that love and care too. it’s time to give some of that energy back to myself.

another month of self-discovery, growth, and a few hard lessons. but i wouldn’t change a thing about everything that happened.

there’s still a lot of uncertainty ahead, and i don’t have all the answers. but for the first time in a while, i’m choosing to trust myself enough to jump in with both feet.

because no matter what happens, i know i’ll be catching myself. 🫂 by @julsvenida
