Even in her calm, smiling appearance, there is a reflection of this unseen effort. Considering the human cost of "Resilience,' while celebrating her composure, the painting serves as a reminder to the "audience" not to take female strength for granted. Bearing the weight of an entire city's responsibilities is a draining sacrifice, not merely an aesthetic virtue.

Currently showcasing these two masterpieces @thoughtpyramidlagos_ for the UNDISCOVERED 4.0 LAGOS ART EXHIBITION. These collections have been in my archive since 2025, after production. One unique aspect is that they contain my initial ideas immediately after my research. These particular collections are in a series of four, with one sold and three remaining. This is the perfect time to view and acquire these works.

It may seem slow on this journey, but I cannot underestimate the process. Staying focused and keeping my eyes on the ball, no matter how heavy the load.
I thank God

Huge congratulations to Boss Dotun Popoola! For the successful 8th exhibition at Tikera Village, Idu, Abuja. It was a great privilege to be part of the volunteer team. The experience is something I will never forget. During the period of 3 weeks, I have really learned a lot, which I will and can never take for granted. Boss, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your advice, words of wisdom and encouragement on how to pursue a career, "my creative spirit is lifted". And I truly appreciate the way you treated us like your own children, that is rare. I never expected I would meet you one-on-one, let alone have the chance to work under you or with your team. I sincerely appreciate you. May God continue to lift you higher and higher. Above all, may God protect you and your family.

This vibrant series by @julz_arts speaks deeply about joy, growth, and the beauty of embracing life despite everything that comes with it.

The bright colors, stylish figures, and expressive atmosphere made the series feel alive to me. Beneath all the beauty and confidence in the paintings, there is still a deeper message about life, growth, and the importance of holding on to happiness through every stage of the journey.

To me, the series reflects the different moments we experience as humans. As we grow, life gives us joyful moments, painful experiences, lessons, memories, and silent battles that slowly shape who we are becoming. Sometimes people become so focused on surviving that they forget to appreciate the small beautiful moments happening around them.

I also love how the figures appear calm and confident within their environments. It feels like a reminder that even while chasing dreams, healing, struggling, or trying to become something greater, we should not lose ourselves completely in the process.

The works remind me that happiness does not always come when everything becomes perfect. Sometimes joy is found in growth, in hope, in small progress, and in choosing to keep going no matter what life looks like at the moment.

A colorful, emotional, and uplifting body of work from @julz_arts . 🔥 taken in Lagos, Nigeria by @julz_arts

This painting powerfully explores themes of identity, belonging, and ownership. It celebrates the modern African woman who manoeuvres through vibrant urban lifestyles without losing her sense of self. She absorbs the noise, colour, struggle, and vibrancy of city life, yet still emerges whole, regal, and unapologetically confident.

Happy Mother's Day
